Except it is clever, and it's also funny. Just because you like Trump (making an assumption here based on your overreaction to the bit) doesn't make this any less funny. You can joke about anything. Literally anything. It's a joke. Although the irony, of right wingers crying about cancel culture, "you can't say anything these days", and "snowflakes" - and then have the brass neck to cry arse on about a stand up comic making fun of Trump (in any way, shape or form) is equally hilarious to me. "You can't say anything these days, fucking snowflakes - Ooh but you definitely CAN'T say that." He literally jokes about Biden immediately after Trump - saying he's so old he'd be the first president you could punch assassinate. It's comedy for fuck sake, anyone who kills someone because a comedian made a joke about it is mentally ill - but that shouldn't stop comedians.

Expend4bles - A massive, steaming pile of shit. I went into it with zero expectations and it somehow still came below. Violence and explosions all CGI, and embarrassingly bad (made The Flash look like Avatar by comparison). Shame really - I liked the first two for what they were - a cheesy throwback to 80s action films.

Fagioli has already spent the proceeds of his blue giro.

TBF I am impressed that Karl Marx is still knocking out some of his greatest hits given that he died 140 years ago.

Mackem logic: Sign a player eight years after he spent one season on loan there, and barely did enough to keep them in the league. He was in his prime then too, what are they hoping he can do eight years on - having spent 6 months not playing football?

The bloopers for the Fat Mac season are probably some of the best of the entire series. Rob McElhenney trying to keep his shit together wheeze eating pizza and crisps breaks me every time. It still has some great moments after that season, but it became a bit more formulaic from then on - just became another American sitcom, but with more swearing and horrific behaviour. The episode on the latest season where the whole joke was meta as it was blatantly just them wanting to see how many times FX would let them get away with saying the word cunt in one episode. Also, the one where they ripped the piss out of that pro chess player cheating by having a vibrator up his arse - by drugging frank and shoving a dildo up his arse

That's the whole point of the show to be honest, they are pieces of shit who always get what's coming to them. The punch line is always them getting their just desserts. The episode when they go to a water park and Frank and Charlie pretend they have AIDS to skip the queues is truly hilarious - especially the end of the episode. That said, there is an episode called Mac loses his pride (season 10 I think), which is phenomenal IMO - intentionally serious and quite emotional, and really well done.

As I said, probably a generational thing. I was doing my GCSEs when it came out, so the frame of reference is missing for me. By the time I got into office work circa 2009 it just wasn't the same. I will say David Brent is probably his least insufferable character, minus Derek. At least he was the awful character saying awful shit. All subsequent characters, he's been the one calling it out as abhorrent like the hero, despite the fact he wrote the awful shit they say in the first place. I will always prefer it's always sunny to any other American sitcom.

Na Seinfeld was shite. Probably a generational thing tbf. I also though the British office was shite, but I was in school when that came out so I had no frame of reference. Never watched the American version, as American copies are almost exclusively terrible.

Imagine growing up with a closeted dad and whore mam who are both shagging the paedo who convinced you aliens wanted you to let him fiddle you? I was shocked at how normal the lass turned out to be fair. I've never watched anything where I'm out right screaming no at the screen and laughing in sheer disbelief. The definition of just when you thought it couldn't get worse, it did. Over and over again.

Abducted in Plain Sight. The darkest, most shocking accidental comedy of all time.

Tonali sending the boys round to "have a word" Listen... rumor has it that somebody who works at this football club... found a certain somethin' that belongs to us. A certain somethin' which may or may not have related to a certain website, huh? And the certain somebody that we know thinks they saw that certain someone... Write it down and take it back to that certain club... which may or may not be the place that we happen to be or not be... talkin' to a couple of certain somebodies right this very second. Capisce?

That's because common sense is frowned upon in modern, British politics. Critical thinking is now seen as the weird option. You either need to be a outright fascist or a full on communist. Even then no actual work gets done because they just sling mud at each other. Starmer is a proper wet lettuce, but at least he strikes me as a bit of a realist.
