It was Colonial Mustard with the candlestick in the drawing room.

The Secret Diary of Lee Ryder (aged 44 and a half)
Kitman replied to Craig's topic in Newcastle Forum
I find it beyond strange Ryder is employed as a journalist. The majority of people who write for the Mag have a better grasp of English and punctuation. It's quite painful to read his tortuous prose and often hard to make any sense of. The editor must be off his tits on booze or drugs to let this perma shizzle stink up the back pages. -
Ashley's preference seems to be for a British manager based on previous appointments. There's nothing there to suggest he'll appoint a foreign coach. I suspect we waited for the simple reason that Maclaren said he would only consider it at the end of the season. I don't think there's any other plan, which is typical of our lot.

You don't agree. Now there's a surprise.

Do you need to be eagle eyed for this one?

When the club "clarifies" something it usually means the original report was accurate

Carver is a typical appointment for this regime - crass, substandard, cut price. The appalling run of results are what they deserve from their penny pinching short sighted attitude. The fucking incompetent bastards wrote the season off by appointing this knobhead, gambling that he could get them the four points or so needed to guarantee safety.

nice

If we go down the heirarchy will wholly deserve it. All completely avoidable if they'd stopped dithering and spent some of their 34 mill on a quality manager and a couple of decent players. If we go down their penny pinching and profiteering will have royally backfired. It'd be a comfort that the fat arsehole wouldn't be able to market his cheap tracky bottoms to the world for at least a season. Silver linings and all that.

Oof. Reading that letter is like watching someone beat an old dog.
-
I expect Ashley will want to sign him in the summer if hes going for a bargain price.
-
I agree. Every year I say, surely we'll upgrade Willo, and every year there the big lunk is, holding down a first team place like a spasticated carthorse. It's the same for a whole bunch of players who aren't good enough to come in and do a job. The squad's piss poor and every year they refuse to address it. I fully expect them to continue their one in, one out policy. In all likelihood this summer we'll see Krul, Tiote and Sissoko sold plus Taylor, Sammy and Guti leave; they'll be replaced with a few cheap buys and loans, plus an 8-10 mill striker.

She's the female equivalent of Alf Garnett. I'm amazed she can earn a living from this.

Mako will be furious they've not consulted him on this

If people are against the regime, not renewing their season ticket is the way to go. Its a damn sight easier to boycott something you havent paid for. I appreciate its easier said than done though, especially if youve had the same seat for years.

Yes, Gemmill isn't a windbag.

Some people just like to criticise it seems. At least theyre having a go
-
No, theres a world of difference between actually organising action and emailing a bunch of proposals to the campaign which youve done absolutely nothing to help implement
-
If you think you could a better job, why dont you get on with it instead of whingeing about it on a sparsely attended internet forum?
-
More than Remi Garde certainly

That's outstanding if accurate
