I've always thought Dyer was a massive prick. His injuries meant his achievements never matched his inflated opinion of himself. I think I finally lost faith in him after the uefa quarter final in Lisbon or wherever when he got his umpteenth hammy and the game completely changed after he hobbled off. Just googled Juventus and doping. There's a doco that claims they doped their way to winning the 1996 european cup and various titles. Their club doctor was sent down in 2004 for routinely administering EPO. The scapegoat having been sacrificed nothing further was done to tackle the issue it seems.
