By and large I like Stevie's posts. I'd be sorry if he went elsewhere, he's a thought provoking cunt. * please don't ban me Craig *

£££'s could still end up being the driving force to bring them back, if the TV money bubble ever bursts. If it brought in more money the clubs would push for it irrespective of TV money. They gladly went along with all seaters because they could whack up prices like there's no tomorrow, attract women who can sit by their boyfriend and read Heat and cut out a whole load of matchday bother. I think the arse would need to fall out of the premier league first. The government would be very anti on snobbery safety grounds alone, so the clubs' opinions may not count for much

Terracing = hooligans/oiks/Hillsborough Seating = golden age of football entertainment in the minds of the government and football administrators. They will never ever allow terraces back imo. Which is a crying shame.

But it does, that's what our cocknee sparra can't quite get How is that different to Sunderland or Boro? If boro sell out (they used to), thats like 1 in 3 of the population attending. Would you call that special? Would be nice to get an answer on this. The argument's specious though. So what if other clubs are special to their fans? I couldn't care less. The toon is special to geordies....what's it got to do with you? Exactly. I couldn't have put it better myself. Good. Be seeing you.

Appropriate as they are a North Yorks club after all.

Platinum. Is Danny B a comedy Spurs alter ego of a board regular? Surely nobody would waste their time to that extent?

Compared to the French they are pretty moderate I guess, but not compared to the German police who seem pretty professional. They do get the water cannon out now and again though. Was it really that bad? I know some blokey died but presumably he had a dodgy ticker? I only saw a bit of it on telly here but it didn't seem that extreme.....

The lead singer's not looking so flash these days.....

Are the UK police still moderate by French standards?

I'd probably nob my wife and cuddle my kids. If I was from smogland I'd probably do the opposite

Beating up a woman half your size = excellent police work. Arm the people it's the only way. Worked in Iraq, innit?

An IT giant’s management style scores in German football

The biggest slice of luck imo comes in finding, appointing and retaining a top class manager. Something we've not been lucky at by and large. -
If that happens I will run, run so far away-ay

At least he wouldn't trundle about the midfield like a pub player

Dancing? With tears in your eyes?

I assume he had a bout of Bellamy-itis? Sudden onset of injury at the prospect of playing out of his favoured position?

Not a lot you can do if he's a mentalist. If it sounds serious you could call the emergency services. If he's just arguing with himself I'd leave him alone personally, unless he's putting you off your stroke. One of my neighbours was paranoid, thinking the mafia was out to get her (for reasons never explained, I don't think they even have the mafia in New Zealand). She had a car accident and accused the other driver of an assassination attempt, I kid you not. The police weren't very sympathetic. She's now on heavy medication. You couldn't reason with her though. Singing O Sole Mio in the alleyway probably didn't help, mind.

You should try washing it occasionally with soap and hot water. Maybe a bit of talc. If that doesn't sort it I'd see a doctor.

We might be a championship club ourselves next season . My theory on Ameobi is that something snaps in his head comes matchday. Call it lack of composure, lack of confidence, lack of heart or whatever but there has to be a reason why he looks great in training and shite on the day. I don't think it's laziness, and I think it's unfair to say he's not trying. I think he just can't focus on the day, the occasion or the adrenaline gets the better of him and he just loses all sense of what he's supposed to be doing. So he barges into players, jumps at the wrong time, his touch is woeful, he loses his man when defending set pieces, he can't time a shot etc. In other words, he's largely clueless when the whistle goes in front of a crowd. If he was in war scenario they'd call it shell shock and pack him off to a sanitorium. They wouldn't let him anywhere near a loaded gun and he'd probably be shot by his own side anyway. No way we should be picking him for the toon, and we've known this for a long long time.

He's probably mentally ill
