  1. imo Taylor will be off like a shot to one of the better prem clubs if a deal's agreed. I doubt this chat about being 'forced out' is genuine, any footballer wants to advance his career. What sticks in my craw is that we have to sell him rather than Coloccini because no-one seems to want him at the price and wages demanded.
  2. I know what you mean but he's too fat to be a spectre imo. More like the Stay-Puft marshmallow man from Ghostbusters....
  3. I fear what should be doing and what we will do are two different things. Hope I'm wrong.
  4. I just hope it's to announce a decision either way. The way the club's been allowed to drift is disgraceful. Hughton & co deserve great credit imo for our start to the season....while the muppets that "run" the club make their little bets and run around naked in the dark.
  5. Fantastic result, well done lads! Very happy the Aussies were put in their place. Hard to fathom the difference between this test and the last one but hey ho
  6. You have to admire the way Ashley finds new ways to take the piss out of us. Pricks.
  7. Shame. Kieron Dyer will have no-one to keep him company in the treatment room now.
  8. Sounds to me like he might have fucked the wrong bloke's missus
  9. A visionary in his own time......They even laughed at him.... But whose laughing now as we piss all over another mediocre team. Knee jerk tbh
  10. He's not a good enough player to grieve over if he leaves. It's more the thought that he probably won't be replaced properly and we're stuck with Sideshow Berb.
  11. Is this the manic depressive thread? tbh most of what's gone on was pretty much predicted by various people on here when Ashley "put the club up for sale".
  12. Don't worry, It'll definitely happen this decade or next
  13. Be hilarious if they scored and the ref missed it again - Warnock's head would literally explode. Although his mouth would keeping working as it's not connected to his brain.
  14. I dunno. I'd keep the champagne on ice this time around until it's clear this Barry Scrote fella isn't as big a tosser as Ashley.
  15. I find this baffling. I know Taylor is no great shakes but he's surely good enough for the championship, understands the toon and the fans, is settled, won't be on top wages and won't fetch a top price. Plus if we sell him to Everton we'll probably get the fee in instalments. And he can score the occasional goal at set pieces. And he's young and usually stays fit. Ashley seems determined to sell anyone he can to whoever he can regardless of the consequences. He doesn't seem to care that the squad gets thinner and thinner and the window's about to close. Hughton said recently there were no plans to sign anyone. Maybe we can look forward to Fat Mike lining up at the back in black n white?
  16. what you on about man you still not convinced eh ? you are one of these lads on the board that fear half the teams in the CCC like the guy who fears going to Palace ?? I know who should be on prozaic, and it aint me. No-one's talking up the opposition. It's been 3 matches, let's not get carried away, eh?
  17. what is it? its asking for log in info????? Some 50 year old bloke sitting in the stand with a cut out whole in his trousers and his cock just hanging out on the seat before the game. Two young lads come and sit next to him and then it ends as they start talking to him. Terrible if there were bairns and taht about like. Crikey, that's bad
  18. Yes. I have an Everton supporting mate who says Jagielka was awesome at CB before he got injured. I wonder whether Taylor would be guaranteed a start ahead of Jagielka and Yobo if both were available? Certainly not over Jagielka. My Everton supporting mate also has glowing things to say about him (I nicknamed him "Air" Jagielka after the ridiculous handball penalty he commited to ensure Sheffield went down a few years back - it turned out well for him as he got a move to Everton out of it). . Reckons he was their player of the season last year. Lescott gets more plaudits because he also chips in with a hefty amount of goals for a defender (or for a NUFC midfielder).

  21. Geddin! Good stuff, at this rate I might start to believe in the team again.
  22. Why? He's livin' the dream, baby !
  23. That conversation in full: MA "Nah Derek, I'm off Puerto Ba-noose tomorrow, get meself an eyeful if you know what I mean." * Chris Hughton walks past * MA "Oi ! You ! Yeah, you !" DL "It's Chris Hughton, Mike." MA "Yeah whatever. Oi Chris! Get me a tea would you, I'm bloody parched here! Cheers".
  24. He plainly has no clue what's going on and will probably be the last to be told if anything happens with player or club sales. Good on him for putting up with a very difficult situation and getting on with it, we'd be stuffed without him at the moment.
