  1. The irony is that in not wishing to rock the boat, Blatter has detonated a ton of TNT under it. Good, I hope it brings him down, the stupid old twat. My sense is that racism is rife in football all over Europe and no doubt beyond. And FIFA sit at the top, a bloated outfit unfit for purpose, serving its own interests and those of its senior figures, with no interest in tackling the real issues. I doubt anyone in FIFA is more self serving than Blatter, whose chief focus over the years has been to preserve his lucrative hold over the top job. Incidentally Blatter is Swiss. Say no more.
  2. As I've been wrong with most of my predictions this season I forecast a comfortable win for Citeh
  3. Seriously those statues look totally gash. They make 2 of our most illustrious No 9s look like pervy garden gnomes. If I was Shearer I wouldn't be pleased.
  4. What better way to start your day than an interesting economic debate.......

    Close call

I'd miss NZ seeing as I live there. Australia would be OK though
  6. Me too. Mong dancing was a better description.
  7. Nice to hear he's looking after himself
  8. The owner's a cunt who doesn't give a shit about the tradition of the club. There's a buck in it somewhere for him, that's all he cares about. The timing and sequencing of this is pretty calculated and contemptuous too. It's a shame he can't leave well alone but then I don't suppose he cares what people think.
  9. Ashley should just call us Sports Direct FC and have done with it.
  10. Concrete US interest in NUFC confirmed! Exclusive picture of possible new owner!
  11. Its an excellent post tbf I followed him up to the point he said play Ben Arfa on the right. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I think it makes more sense to play him off the bench until he's fully fit and match sharp, which he isn't atm. He'll get a run in the team due to injuries anyway and then it's up to him to keep his place.
  12. Fuck off, twatface, as if you know more camped out in reindeerville. Not that I wrote the article, but fuck off all the same. and I didnt write it either you paedophile mong I assume this is another one of your jokes that got lost in translation......
  13. Is this about STDs or something more profound?
  14. Fuck off, twatface, as if you know more camped out in reindeerville. Not that I wrote the article, but fuck off all the same.
  15. Apaprt from some glaring inaccuracies, including the Durham references and the old "Keegan's sides don't defend" cliche, I didn't think it was a bad article actually.
  16. I'd have him back because he's better than Best. However I think the strong possibility that he will piss his career up a nightclub wall would need to be priced into the deal.
  17. If you're going to put Rodwell and Jagielka in there, then you might as well call up the Taylors and Simpson since they're 3 quarters of the best defence in the league... ... but I'm happy Capello didn't because I don't care about England and I wouldn't want our boys to risk getting injured. That squad looks pretty wank to me on paper, especially in midfield and attack.
  18. Stop 'em playing. Hoof it up to the big lad. Nick a goal from a set piece. Well it usually works for Big Sam anyway.
  19. Don't know if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but on NZ coverage they had David Pleat commentating on the Everton match. He said at the outset that Pardoo was now being talked about as an outside contender for the England job. Hell's bells!

    Benefit Fraud

Depends what you mean by tax evasion. There's the black economy (no income tax/no VAT etc), there's tax planning (companies, individuals), tax evasion via hiding cash in tax havens, tax avoidance through rich people living abroad but flitting back and forth to the UK (Philip Green/Monaco etc). Once you get past the black economy, which is basically theft from the public purse, no-one really agrees about what is "paying your fair share", it depends on your politics. There's also a balancing act between making taxpayers pay their "fair share" and driving away jobs and skills. On the other hand, a benefit cheat is a straightforward proposition morally and economically. However it must be bloody hard to identify and stamp out.
