playing in front of three old blokes, a dog and a pork pie. Never mind it's Rangers, it's a fucking HONOUR
-
I can understand Rangers fans being pissed off about their players jumping ship....I'd feel the same. However they surely can't expect any player to see out their old contracts in lower league football? The SPL is shit enough without dropping down a level or two......blame the directors not the players

He'll limp off somewhere else looking for a last undeserved payday. But will anyone be stupid enough to sign him?
-
sounds like a scene from The Office

I suppose I was thinking Elland Rd is an ageing stadium, the clubs been in the doldrums for years, footy's probably second fiddle to Rugby League (?), the squad's shite etc. Massive job to turn it round and get into the promised land I reckon.....

Can't imagine that Leeds Utd are such an appealing prospect?

I think you'll find FC Kebab is a top club with top players. According to Owen.

When was the last time he played 90 minutes? Dubai would be perfect for him, he can get paid a lot for doing very little as usual
-
yeah right
-
I distinctly remember when he was seeking to re-negotiate his contract with us, money was very important to him. More wind and piss.

I'm not sure Blanc is famous enough for the average Spurs fan. It is a famous cub after all.

I wouldn't be surprised if kicking a ball around the back streets is the best way to learn footy. Once a kid gets on the big pitch with a tracksuited arsehole who screams "Early ball" or "get rid" the minute he gets the ball, any hope of turning out a Gazza or a Hoddle is gone

It's not just the number of coaches, it's also what they're coaching
-
If he goes, he goes......I just wish he'd get a move on one way or the other.
-
More interesting is what Hughes is going to do about him next season. Personally I'd like to see him dispensing his bon mots on life and culture to the QPR youth team.....

When the conveyor belt's broken, it might be an idea to see about fixing it. The FA are a bunch of useless fuckers
-
I think it's a complex mix of problems. There used to be a conveyor belt of kids coming through, it doesn't seem to happen anymore. I understand schools offer less sport to kids, playing pitches have been sold off and teachers don't want to teach PE in their spare time. Culturally there;s less support for sport and there's the rise of video games etc. Plus kids have skills coached out of them and the emphasis is on producing mediocre workhorses. This has been coming for a long time. What's the FA been doing about it? Sitting in committee rooms talking about building a national centre for football. Hopefully the penny's dropped now.
-
If there were decent English youngsters coming through grass roots football and the academies, maybe there wouldn't be so many foreigners in English football? The FA have got to take some blame for this, from what I've read they've neglected grassroots football for years

On footballing grounds, it beggars belief. Must be something else I reckon, don't know what but money's probably involved.....

Not a bad shout

The waiting's a bit tedious. Wish we'd buy someone.

I can't say I care whether he stays or goes really. Seems to spend a lot of time injured.

Not been in the best mood now for about 2 weeks. Maybe it's the weather (cold, wet here) or the menopause. Bah and double bah!
