I'm worried about CT. There's a depressive streak to his posting these days....

I'm hoping NZ will become a republic before Slaphead 1 or Slaphead 2 make it onto the throne.

It seems like the deal is 7.5 mill to buy out his contract, a boatload of cash to his greedy agents, and 90k a week and a big signing on fee to the man himself. Not to mention a dodgy knee which according to Stoke could go at any time. It's not exactly a bargain......unless you're Liverpool of course....

Gus fucking Poyet. Yet again. Oh goody.... -
You're knee-jerk but without the knee......

It's understandable though....

Just like Gary Glitter. Fancy that.

I wouldn't want a Tory MP standing behind me. Half of them grew up sexually abusing their "fags" at Eton and Harrow. Er, probably.

Sacking the manager of the last season after a poor run of games would be completely wrong. Moyes would've been out on his arse long ago taking the same approach.

wow!

I suppose if we win against Maritimo, it takes the pressure off the Bordeaux fixture......

Perhaps you'd like to have a go LBT, you seem to know far more about managing a premier league football club than Pardew?

Cabaye may have been crocked for some time already. Getting him fixed up might be a wise move in the longer term, although we need him desperately.....just goes to show how thin the squad is (which is not Pardew's fault)

Sitting here watching the match again and Suarez has gone down screaming several times in the first 20 minutes trying to get our defenders booked. What a cunt that man is. Colo is like Samson. Cut his hair and he's not the same player......

It galls me to say it but the Suarez goal was special, even if Colo did allow him to get goal side. But then Colo had a terrible game (by his standards) and imo Suarez had the better of him. The red card was plainly borne out of frustration and I think it was fully deserved. If Colo hadn't got himself sent off, we'd have stood a decent chance of nicking a goal on the counter Imo. As it was we just about hung on. I'm glad Jonjo Shelvey was playing as he squandered 3 pretty good chances. In the circumstances a point at Anfield is ok.
