  1. Talk about getting ahead of yourself. He'll be lucky to play for the toon this season imo let alone Nigeria.
  2. Regardless of whose fault it is, when a player is consigned to train with the kids its usually terminal. I dont think we'll see him play for us again, and even if Pardew gets sacked I expect the new man will be instructed to keep it that way.
  3. There must be better coaches out there than Pardew, Carver and Stone.
  4. More signings?! Jamaal shook up Uh huh huh, huh huh, yay yay I'll get me coat...
  5. Theyre all money grabbers. Whether he views us as much more attractive than QPR is the question. That and who else might be in for him. I cant imagine working with Pardew is much of a drawcard, mind you
  6. Unless Pardew gets sacked, it seems better for both parties if he goes. Theres no way otherwise hes going to get any significant game time, so whats the point of having him? Other than to finish up the leftovers and save on waste disposal....
  7. My worry is that our shite defence is like starting every game one nil down. Given we rarely score from our appalling set pieces and our strike force looks goal shy to me, we're relying on our midfield to score a lot of goals to win matches. We really need a kickass striker.
  8. Dummet needs regular first team football somewhere on loan imo
  9. Have to disagree with R Taylor on the bench. imo he was mediocre before 2 very serious injuries, I'd have S Taylor ahead of him (and I think S Taylors shit these days)
  10. Completely agree. How the management thinks our defence is strong enough to keep a clean sheet escapes me.

    What a bell end
  12. Whatever it was first half it was dog shit imo. Our right hand side and taylor in particular looked poor to me. It was only inept finishing from our hosts that prevented us from conceding.
  13. Tbh I thought we were pretty poor bearing in mind the standard of the opposition. I couldnt work out what the hell was going on formation wise...we seemed to have anita playing right wing in the first half, haidara left wing and mapou at left back. The play was disjointed and at times our defence was completely overrun. Taylor was appalling imo and elliott couldnt kick a ball. Collo got injured second half I hope hes ok. On the bright side de jong looked useful until he got injured and colback looked neat and tidy. Gouffran looked spritely at times and the no 35 (I assume this was Aarons but the feckless pa man didnt have his name) looked lively. We did seem to lack an end product though and we seemed to struggle to create chances.pp All in all a cracking day out. The whole squad went for a stroll down the waterfront so we got to say hello, which was nice. A privilege to see the lads down here I just hope that was a case of chucking the lads on for a bit of a kick around rather than a serious attempt at a match. The icing on the cake was walking past a very glum and orange sam allardyce at the airport afterwards.
  14. Nope no nothing about him. If he plays on Saturday I'll look out for him. Does CT think he's any good? Cos if so I'd like to write him off already
  15. Its beyond dreadful. I even spied Alex Salmond at one point...
  16. Fruity king's almost as dignified as wonga. Good work Mike!
  17. What are you basing this on? The rumour is that the club stop playing him in order to prevent him reaching the number of appearances that would have triggered a contract extension. Without the extension he still has a year to go but has been told to find another club as he wont get a game for us.

    Gejon.

Shocking news. I remember Gejon from when I used to post on NO back in the day and he always came across well. Its a tragedy and 31 is no age at all. RIP.
