He starts with Gouffran who is completely out of form and iirc has been in all our recent losing teams. He also plays Dummet as a full back. Both decisions to stop the oppo playing. The guys a complete fucking plum. If this is what Ashley wanted he should've stuck with Allardyce.

What we do about the goalie situation fuck knows. Once again we descend into farce.

Anybody looking at the team sheet would've known we were fucked before a ball was kicked. He has to drop Willo Riviere and Gouffran for us to stand a chance against the mackems imo.

Its the usual suspects though isnt it? Willuamson Gouffran Riviere.....they're fucking gash. The squads not good enough, I think we'd have lost with Krul in goal its just that Alnwick made it easy. Ultimately I don't blame Alnwick for this debacle. If hes not good enough he shouldnt be anywhere near the team and there should be adequate cover. The buck stops with Pardew and Fatty.

Alnwick + Williamson + Gouffran + Riviere = defeat on paper. Plus theres no ine on the bench to influence the game. Really hope I'm wrong. I fear we will need massive luck or someone like Moussa to have a stormer with that team.

I'm not confident. There's usually a period where the wheels come off entirely with Pardew and I think this week is it. We will then have a period of "digging deep" and "showing character", for which Pardew will thank himself. Limping into January we will buy no new players and thank Mike for not selling too many of the current ones. Happy xmas everybody!

I firmly believe that because of Sky and owners like Ashley, football will cease to be a passion for the average person within a generation or so. Attendances will nose dive sooner or later. SJP isn't a cathedral anymore its a tacky looking shop with tawdry adverts everywhere.

I thought we'd lose from the moment I saw our line up. Pedestrian going forward, slow at the back and a midfield that couldnt keep possession. All as expected based on the recent form of Willo Gouffran and Tiote. If Pardew thought that was an "ambitious" team he sent out I can only conclude he is on drugs or is mentally ill.

I knew when I saw the team sheet we had surrendered any initiative. Starting Williamson and Gouffran over Haidara and Cabella. Completely fucking negative when their defence was held together with sticky tape and they had their right back on a yellow after about 20 mins. If wed got at them and put them under pressure their fickle fans wouldve been on wenger and the teams back. Pardew got it totally wrong today imo and we made them look 100 times better than they are

I think in his position I would say "as far as i'm aware we've no plans to sell him and I wouldn't want him to go as he's a big player for us. That's as much as I want to say about that." As it is it reads to me more like we should be expected to sell him as long as the price reflects his status as a long term French international with significant PL experience.

The best you can say about Pardew is hes mediocre. Hes not much of an advance on Allardyce when he was here...both are negative overly cautious managers who generally favour hard working brawny types and try to stop the oppo playing. The irony is WHU look a far better team than us....in fact Allardyce looks the better manager, and I fucking hate Allardyce.
