tbf he's probably only got one glove...a woolly one his mam has sewn onto his sleeve...

I don't think any of the players sent to Rangers have any hope of playing for the toon. This is just Ashleys way of getting some return out of their wages. It should however highlight to the SFA that Rangers and NUFC are under control of the same man, for now at least.

The Untouchables

Nothing to see here

It's crap isn't it I'm sure he'd "like to think" he'd be Sir Bobby's choice too. And Pele. And the Pope.
-
Oh I forgot Raylor. Who's usually injured.
-
So our defence is Janmaat Willo Colo Haidara. Saylor and Dummett are both injured. Do we have anyone else as cover? Carver? Apparently Streete and Good are being loaned to Rangers
-
Obviously Carr and Charnley think we have enough to get through 15 games and get 12 points. I'd say the season was written off but they already did that a long time ago.
-
Exactly. This club lol
-
Does that make Haidara first choice LB with Dummett as back up? If so we should be signing a CB who can play at LB, but I bet we arent. I suppose they think we've managed without Santon so far so may as well flog him. This thread should be called 'January sales' really.

The Secret Diary of Lee Ryder (aged 44 and a half)

All very reminiscent of CT tbh

Assuming there is a point in there somewhere....

Massadio Haïdara signs for Newcastle on 5.5 year deal

yeah no surprise there. Fucking Pardew... -
iirc Charnley said in his Chron interview he didn't expect any significant Jan signings.

I'm beginning to think Facundo might be Spanish for cunt

I think transparency would be a good thing for clubs. I dont necessarily agree fans need to know players wages but a central register of all payments/wages might not be a bad idea. I definitely think something should be done to reign in crooked agents and excessive fees for fuck all, although Ive nothing to offer by way of suggestion

Yes, De Jong will take a few games to get match fit and up to speed. You'd think he will have to brought back very gradually after a serious injury.
-
tbf we've been fairly shit at any sort of set piece for years, especially corners. Its just that under Pardews reign the patient flatlined. That floaty free kick to the back stick, fucking hell.
-
They obviously haven't seen him play much. His previous gig was an second rate Turkish club....I bet he can't believe his luck. Good on him anyway.
-
The Daily Mail righto Incidentally they just appear to be reporting some vague source with no specifics about the actual transaction.
-
Indeed. However the point is you have to look at all the factors, future cashflows and rights to arrive at that assessment. I know nothing about the HBOS transaction and maybe it was the equivalent of a horse bet I dunno. I suspect it wasn't directly comparable to a straight bet however. Not that I care one iota, I was just trying to move the discussion along a little

According to that definition, any business transaction that doesn't involve immediate settlement is a risk. If I make a business loan that involves credit risk, market risk, systemic risk etc. So every loan is a gamble, so the question is what steps have you taken to minimise the risk - collateral etc. I think you need to be a bit more specific.

Weve got Curtis Good to come back from injury don't forget. Like signing a new CB
