  1. Decent point all things considered but we’re drifting way off the pace now at the top of the table. I wouldn’t mind seeing Bruno have a great game for us soon… No idea why Livramento didn’t get half an hour today… If Wilson gets injured we’re fucked
  2. May its ludicrous geometry reward you in comfort and toanz.
  3. It looks like you couldn’t put it on a stand or hang it up by the headstock… are you just supposed to lay it down like one of your French girls?
  4. How are you finding the wonky frets?
  5. I can hear the Kajagoogoo riffs from here 😎
  6. Why not jump in now, you never know your luck
  7. Sorry you guys missed the boat 🤷‍♂️
  8. Of course it’s more volatile but it’s a completely new currency designed to do what fiat currency doesn’t do, ie store value. Time will tell if Bitcoin will be the currency to do that successfully. Currency was more stable when it was tied to something else (ie gold) and for decades money held its value. The last 50 years or so has seen money being printed at astronomical rates. You can argue over a short time scale that fiat is stable but it’s a nonsense argument to try and claim that fiat currency isn’t inherently prone to losing value.
  9. “Final” Beatles song to be released. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-67207699 its not the greatest ever song tbf (the Lennon demo is on YouTube) but it’ll be interesting to hear the results considering the advances in audio separation.
  10. There is no upper limit as to how many Pounds/Euros/Dollars can be created which why the value of fiat currency is constantly falling. The opposite is true of Bitcoin which is why its value has risen.
  11. One glaring problem preventing us playing our normal game was that we couldn’t play the ball into space as we normally do cause it was running away due the rain.
  12. My sense is that any time Israel lets its guard down there are an endless supply of pro Palestinians who will attack anything Jewish that it can. Israel tries to keep pro Palestinians at arms length but this inflicts enormous harm on Palestinians and makes them more determined to attack anything Jewish. So unless Israel “gives up” I don’t see it ever ending.
  13. The thing about bitcoin is that you can buy a tiny fraction of one. The whole idea is that unlike pounds, dollars or euros which can be conjured out of nothing, there’s a finite number of bitcoin that will ever exist. Coinbase is the biggest and safest exchange to buy from as I recall. They’ll let you buy (say) £100 worth which would be 0.0035 bitcoins.
  14. Literally the definition of a grass
  15. The trouble with bitcoin is that as yet it doesn’t “feel” valuable in its own right (although that may well be changing). It only made sense to me as its equivalent value in fiat currency. And as that rose the fear of losing “actual” fiat value (I know, lol) it became harder to see a reason to keep it. Also because the exchanges occasionally get hacked (although I haven’t heard of one for a while) there’s always that feeling that you could just lose it all. Thinking out loud, the smartest thing for me to do would be to buy 0.1 bitcoin and forget about it.
  16. I bought 2 bitcoins. The first one cost £250 (this was in 2014). I put it into a “secure” online wallet and forgot about it for a couple of years. Then I saw that prices were creeping up so I bought another one for £4000 (2017). Then I kept looking at my balance on my crypto wallet and got bored and decided to “invest” one of my bitcoins on bitconnect. A poor move as they eventually collapsed and took all the money with them. Fortunately I’d got most of my £4k back but I’d missed out on it rising up to £12-13k. Then I sold the first one and drove to Andorra and bought a Rolex for me and the Mrs. So I have a Rolex Explorer (under the radar kind of watch) that cost me £125 🚀
  17. late 70s/early 80s Cliff was lit af 🔥😎
  18. I’m 18 minutes into this… Sam Harris‘s opening spiel (pretty much all of those 18 minutes) is a depressing reality check.
  19. And yes I’ve been on the dole before. It’s shit.
  20. I never said I look down on anyone and made a point of saying that welfare should be there for people who are ill in any way.
