Newcastle United 1-2 Manchester United
Ayatollah Hermione replied to Matty's topic in Newcastle Forum
Watching their second, Taylor makes a gesture telling someone to calm down. Either Steve Harper who was rushing out his goal, Coloccini who was under no real pressure or Ryan Taylor who was out on the deck. Maybe he was telling Berbatov to calm down before picking his spot. Surprised he didn't point a corner out for him. -
Give that man a gold star. Sitting chilling as we speak

Not a chance we're getting owt off Hull either IMO. Not just because we've been shite against them all through this season, I can just see it now. Midfield gets over run, we get knocked about, stupid defensive error concedes a goal, ball lumped forward aimlessly, no points.
-
Of course they have. Transfer info sells papers, where is that going to come from if the paper burns its bridges? I understand your point but the Chronicle has had an iffy history of breaking transfers, even with the club on its good side. The Brett Emerton fiasco springs to mind.

That's a quality deal like. The Half-Life games are superb, Portal is a piece of genius and Team Fortress is a class multiplayer game to dip into now and again.

Me and some mates completed Horde on Insane. I actually get flashbacks some nights.

Get on the online shop channel and get the new Dr. Mario off WiiWare. Incredibly addictive little game.

Coming into our country, stealing our football tickets.

When was the last time anyone was banned? what a fucking tramp

Knackered himself against us, didn't he?

Got to say, Geordie Lad, I was hoping for a prospective team sheet like

Think we've got to hope against hope that we're organised enough to stop Arsenal from scoring tbh. Which I doubt as we're even more of a shambles at home, if that was possible.
-
Keegan would need a lot more than two month to turn this shower of shite around tbh. I'd argue we're worse than last season at this point with a crippled midfield and no Owen.
-
I'd honestly love to hear any reason for Shola to be in that team ahead of any striker that is fully fit. This is not me using him as a scapegoat either, it just amazes me that he will probably be picked continually. 3 year contract as well ffs.

Tbf to Danny B, I wouldn't mind being in a final. Any one will do. Except Intertoto. Been there, won that.
-
I think we'll stay up but it's going to go down to the last two or three games. Nacho Gonzalez will save us.

If you were certain to get away with it

I'd teabag the lot of them. Wise first though. -
It's because we fell in love with a bunch of cool black gangsters, and were then given some poor white-ass motherfuckers. I grew to love them all the same though. Especially Nicky. Ziggy was a bit of a knobhead and I can't believe that anyone would rank a character below him in the "Worst Character" awards. I still think the Barksdale stuff was good in Season 2 and set up a lot of the stuff that would be so great in Season 3. This thread has made me want to watch them all through again now.
-
I'll take a point but I'm not sure how long I can say that for. Win this though and I'm a lot more optimistic about staying up, especially with the impending arse-tickling from the Top 4 coming up. We could do with the three to cushion the eventual loss in points in those games.

Ugly fucker as well

The serial killer arc was a stretch at times maybe, but no more so than "Amsterdam" running undiscovered for so long or Omar being able to survive hails of bullets hiding behind a couch and jumping out 5th floor windows Omar becoming more and more battered and faced with increasingly insurmountable odds as the series went on was a personal highlight of mine. Agree about the rest of Season 5 like. McNulty's downfall was a bit too jarring from Season 4 (I understand the reasoning and the development but I thought it was too much of an extreme) and the serial killer arc is entirely different from Amsterdam; Amsterdam was privately run by Colvin and those in his trust circle so I don't think it's too far out of the realms of possibility that it lasted a while. Saying that, I can't remember off the top of my head how long Season 4 runs in time. If it's anything more than a few months then, yeah, belief stretching. Season 5 was Marlo's season anyway. And Snoop. Can't forget Snoop. Or Chris for that matter. His Angel of Death routine was brilliant.

Very sad that the picture wasn't captioned "UP AND ATOM!"
