In a better team with better movement and more intelligent play, I think he'd flourish. I still don't think he's a special player by any means but better players would bring more out of him IMO.

Was great at home last season and shit away. Now seems to have become shit at both, outside of the odd performance. Having said that, he's been on the list of players we needed to replace since last season anyway and the need for a real quality central midfielder has been so glaring for so long now, I don't know how it hasn't been focused on.

Aye, I can't stand when the factors out of Owen's control get held against him. Will be a shame when he leaves but hardly unexpected.

Very pleased with this considering if we beat Wigan, we can probably afford to drop three points against Liverpool next week. Bit more optimistic about staying up if we can have similar performances to that considering we keep the current squad.

Right, after Chrimbo, I'll be looking into getting myself a Wii and am wondering how I'd get it online. Is it like the 360 where you get the cables with the console and it's a case of popping them in your PC or do I have to buy things separately? I know there's a Wi-Fi adaptor but I'd prefer to get it all wired up. Also, how much will it set me back if I have to buy adaptors and wires and the like? Cheers for any help.

Think I said it in the summer but I'd take him as a squad player for a couple of million. Stronger alternative in the middle to Cacapa or Geremi IMO. Then again, Geremi's frightening accuracy when it comes to spotting Owen's movements might come in useful yet.
