Didn't someone mention that Shola looked good in the training while Martins generally looked lazy and useless? Maybe that's influenced things. -

We're going to fuck them. I'm feeling confident. It could be the fact I'm probably still pissed but bollocks. 3-0 us -
because hes got little legs?
-
Did they literally tear it up? Because I have a vision of Allardyce bringing Vogel in, sitting him down, tearing his contract up in his face and kicking him out

Roisin Murphy - Overpowered Wife from Moloko's second solo album. Better than owt Goldfrapp have done IMO. Brilliant electro-disco production

Dude, you know they're working on an AD movie, right? Supposed to be out in 2010 from what I've read. God, Arrested Development is like the funniest show I've ever seen on TV. Seinfeld had it's moments for sure, but Christ, I used to fall out of chairs watching Arrested Development. That story arc they did with Charlize Theron was classic. Oh, and Bob Loblaw. Still makes me smile just typing it. Reno 911 is good too. Did you see the movie? You, sir, are quite the mouthful!

Training Session --- Live coverage

I was partial to his dialogue in the second paragraph. It's like how I'd imagine Fop to speak. -
I'm pretty sure you could say "hello" to Fop and he'd argue some facet of it. What a legend.
-
I think both this and Horne and Corden are pretty shite fwiw.

Danny so obsessed he's wumming the local paper. -
Fop'll be found shooting up a school one day, I'm sure of it.
-
Is that what they're selling? Michael Owen Rescue Service?
-
I don't understand what it's selling
-
When they're pulling this bloke out of a ditch?
-
July, I think. Looks to be total class.

I remember you making up bolloks. Looks like it is still a trait of yours. Except he does have a bit of strength about him. I mean, he doesn't use it very well but it's there.
-
That would make more sense, its going to be emptier that when we played you in the Carling Cup post so edgy I could shave with it

Newcastle - worst academy in the Premiership?
Ayatollah Hermione replied to duo's topic in Newcastle Forum
There's no way I'd have risked a bunch of 17-18 year olds in a relegation scrap either. -
So, your replacements for a winger (that has been perfectly fine) are a centre half or a striker? That isn't trying to save the club, that's an FM tactic gone horribly wrong.
-
It only took them about a minute into extra time to score anyway. Ah ok, cheers. I was only repeating what I saw on the BBC text update fingy anyway. It was definately a bit iffy, mind. It just didn't factor into the goal is all.

Or not. What a goal

Man United crumbling under the pressure. Looking increasingly possible that they'll throw it all away.

Bullshit. It's perfectly reasonable to criticise a player for a shite performance, regardless of any circumstances. Playing in this league for 5 seasons isn't going to make him any quicker or stronger. And that's before his shite marking and weak tackling. A 20-odd year old defender is not going to suddenly improve on basic issues. It's like expecting Martins to adapt and become an intelligent footballer. Every foreigner is not going to magically improve in time if they're already fundamentally lacking. He's a full Argentina international and probably the biggest name (perhaps barring Owen) that we have. I think his credentials are better than you suggest, despite him making a few mistakes this year, he has shown good ability at times. We could always drop him and re-sign Ramage though. Like Ewerk says, an international status really means nothing as an indicator of quality. As his performances this season, I don't think he has half the talent that his price tag would suggest. I agree that he looked perfectly composed at the start of the year but, I don't know if it's confidence or what, but as it stands, he's looking like a total liability at centre back and should be dropped when the defence is fully fit. As for the last bit, I definately said that, didn't I?
