Thing is, I don't expect us to give them the fight needed to exploit that. We looked totally heartless against Fulham.

Christ, makes the final day a bit more interesting now. Surely Sunderland can't turn Chelsea over while Hull are playing a weakened Man United team and we have a chance of something against Villa. I'll be drinking that day.

Took me a while to get through your subtle layering and word-play but I got it eventually.

Poifect.

God, I remember going in Charlies Games all the time. Quality some of these.

a poll on Talksport ffs. This is a WUM that knows how to sound like a total idiot to try and wind us up
-
"Sending Shearer Down" Not bitter much though. Idiot.
-
Man United fans obssessed with our little club now. Amazes me.
-
Danny desperately trying to get any points on the board after the Wiki fiasco, I see.

Since we're calling refs, Rob Styles might be the most pitiful excuse for one I've ever seen. I'm sure he flips a coin for most of his decisions. The options both being red cards. Total arsehole.

Ah, give us a team, Geordie, lad

Gooch anarl

Christ, Craig Moore, man. I almost forgot about him. Speaking of Australian tat, whatever happened to James Troisi?

I don't get the "Koogan" joke. Then again, I'm not sure if it is a joke or if this kid is just thick as shit.

This post seems a bit contradictory. Surely promotion as soon as possible should be the priority? Regardless, the reality is we will lose the better players and be stuck with the shit ones we can't shift. Keeping the current lot fixes nothing though. We get promoted with the same shit and the same crippling wage bill, or we fail and are in financial ruin. I want to come straight back up but the prospect of having a clearout is quite a refreshing one. We should be more than capable of poaching decent youngsters and up-and-comers with a name like Shearer in charge. I'd agree with this. I think someone on here said that one of the few positives of going down would be losing the gravy train mentality to the club. Out goes the overpaid, finished players and in come a load of hungry young players who want to play football. Like you say, I think Shearer's name could very well be a pull factor since his legend is more well-known around the players today. Tell you what though, if we buy well enough, we could easily come straight back up and there'd probably be question marks over whether we were even ready to survive again. It could turn into a horrible cycle. We could become West Brom.

Let's just get everyone's non-union Mexican equivalents! Lionel Shmessi, Franco Lampardo etc.

Matthew Fox. That's about it. I'm assuming that Esau (Jacob's mate) has been behind the manipulating of the Losties so he can achieve his goal of succeeding Jacob as overseer of the island. From Christian making Locke turn the wheel, appearing as Alex convincing Ben to follow "Locke" and do the dirty work since the "rules" don't allow him to, to possibly the Smoke Monster, judging the likes of Eko to see if they're worthy. As for Richard, I assume he came on The Black Rock, gained Jacob's trust and got a reward out of it. As for Jacob's magic powers, I have no idea. I hope they don't totally drop the Dharma side of things for the final season but they've explained everything to do with that. Roll on next February

Fucking incredible. The whole light/dark theme was started way back in the Pilot with the "5000 year old" Backgammon game. Also, the Esau/Jacob struggle could easily be a paralell to God/Satan. The Devil taking many forms to waylay people onto his path which would explain Esau being the dead reincarnated on the Island etc. Love this show and this has been the direction it's intended to go along iyam.

Also, Martins isn't a cockney
-
Imagine that, man. They lose tomorrow and us, Hull and Chelsea win next week. It'll be fucking bedlam.
-
Most odious human being involved with the club iyam. Hated him more than Wise as well.
-
Aye, the Villa game is on Sky.

Did I hear Nolan get MOTM as well btw? By that point, I was generally swearing to nobody in particular and missed it but my dad reckons he got it. Like everyone has said, it was another anonymous performance and he's a total carthorse. Offers absolutely nothing that I can notice. Doesn't get forward well enough and never gets back often enough to defend, doesn't close anybody, can barely retain possession or pass 10 yards. It reminds me of Smith's early midfield performances.
