look man, he's woefully average. Carlton palmer once played for England.

BUT THE SPANISH LEAGUE HAS NEVER SEEN A BAD PLAYER. IT IS ALL ENGLAND'S FAULT
-
It's not our player's fault that Guti can't fucking pass or cross you moron. its known as movement off the ball, if you actually played any football instead of wanking off in front of your computer all day to pictures of your players you'd understand that. at barca, he'll be surrounded by players who are actually making cuts, showing, creating space. He'll be playing short, one touch passes. In case you haven't noticed, he does just fine when he plays for Argentina, hmmmm I wonder why that is. Its all good, continue to hate all your players that actually have some skill. Maybe one day if more people like you are in charge of your club you'll be filled with 5 nicky butts and 5 alan smiths in the outfield. Nah, you're just thick as shit. Oddly enough, so is Gutierrez with the ball at his feet. Funny that.

He would be better off here than Notts Country, surely... defo, but I doubt Ashley offered anything worthwhile and Newcastle isn't as pretty a club to look at considering the slow but sure exodus of players away from the club, even so Notts County I mean really, we must have offered him nothing :S Perhaps, but I imagine he could have been offered a pay as you play deal or on the borderline of 20k. He would obviously reject that considering he was would have been used to 70k at Arsenal and not much of a cut back at Portsmouth. I don't think he'd be asking for as much in the way of wages if he wants to settle in the area as he ends his career. It's either the regime being tight or NC throwing money at him.

I shouldn't laugh but it's funny really. They don't want to actively sign anyone, it's fairly obvious.

I hope it isn't Christmas Tree.
-
Has he ever shown himself to be a top Premier League player then?
-
Nowt on me when I'm hungover and need a shite.
-
He'll be pointing all the way to Merseyside.

Simian Mobile Disco's new album Audacity of Huge is a bit of a stomper but the rest of the album isn't. Will give it time to grow.

I'd probably pay to see Simon Jordan raped by a sandpaper cock
-
Unless they're updating the 3D match engine graphically, it'll be similar to last years, I'd guess.
-
Phil Brown probably has two friends on Facebook; Sam Allardyce and himself.

I think we're playing this lot at the worst time. They're going to be riled up over last week's decision and Warnock's going to have them playing like mentalists. They turned over Ipswich like they were nowt and we're going to have to be careful they don't do it to us. Let's hope the backline isn't torn apart in the next few days (through injury/transfers) because Coloccini is going to struggle against their frontline. If we can get a draw out of this, I'll be happy. You have to hope that, if we lose, the squad's heads don't drop like it has in the past. We're going to get beat in this league eventually and we need to instantly bounce back from it.

Ipswich keeper Supple quits game
Ayatollah Hermione replied to Scottish Mag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Newcastle United are thought to have put a big money contract offer on the table for Supple following the announcement. -
Seen it today and generally enjoyed it. He has a point that some scenes drag on without ever reaching any sort of climax and some of the dialogue is wooly in the extreme. There's a great scene in a bar though and the actor that plays Landa manages to be the over-the-top character he needs to be while retaining some subtlety, something that Pitt doesn't. It's far from his best but it has its good moments

Breaking news: Sir John Hall sells his share
Ayatollah Hermione replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
Re-reading threads from around May 07 is depressing. Everyone so optimisitic -
I'll probably still torrent it.
-
I go to bed, see 2 new pages added to the thread and I assume he's signed. What a disappointment.

Until they fell out that is. Also, Oliver and Roeder were proper bum chums iirc. I think they were. I certainly can't remember anything too critical of Roeder written by Oliver. Some might say Oliver's ratings were...wide of the mark :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

I think Guthrie uses the ball pretty well tbf to him.
-
I didn't think Ryan Taylor was awful or anything but he wasn't any good either. Alex definately has a point about him hiding but he didn't give away possession as foolishly as he usually does and that cross for our second was pitch-perfect. He almost looks nervous out there a lot of the time and I can't understand why.

Newcastle United 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday FT
Ayatollah Hermione replied to a topic in Newcastle Forum
Re-reading my post, it comes off too dickish and I apologise. I don't hold any ill feeling to your club or fans but it irks me whenever I see people trot out the paper/radio cliches time and again (not saying you personally do this but some people on your site have). I'm looking forward to the game too which is a change. Hopefully, Ashley won't have destroyed the squad too much in the next 48 hours but I wouldn't put it past him at all. There should be a buzz around the ground for a change coming off the back of Saturday and we need to follow it with a good performance. I wouldn't worry about Shola doing similar to your lot though; he's filled his goal quota for at least 5 weeks.
