I said at the time there was a rumour here in Australia, for a more than reliable source, that Viduka was told he would never play for the club again as long as JFK was in charge, hence why when Shearer took control all of a sudden he was fit and available again. Now we all know Viduka was lazy fat bastard but he wasn't as bad as he was made out to be by some at the club. I thought both centre-halves were impressive today actually. Williamson does the simple stuff very well and I can't remember him misplacing a pass from out of defence. Coloccini seems to have become a fully fledged Toon fan as well which is nice.

Quality. Wenger looked like the Human Centipede on the touchline. Carroll, Tiote and Coloccini were marvellous, the latter was having a field day at the back. Ranger put himself about well too. Top performance.
