Oh dear, Kevin. Oh dear.

Hard to think he's only 30/31. Plays like he's 5 year older than that now.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched

I love the subtitled swearing Owt Chris Morris does is gold for me. -
I used to love watching Oliver Twist at me gran's when I was a kid. On the subject of Paul Newman, I really like Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. We had to watch it in A-Level English and I was the only one that liked it. In my top ten and got it for xmas after having had it on VHS for donkeys. The film's hardly good source material if you're studying the book like. Paul Newman actually better looking than Liz Taylor in the lead roles. I remember thinking that when I was reading it and I know Tennessee Williams hates the adaptation as well so it's a mystery why they showed it to us tbh. Probably to keep us quiet for a bit. And too rights on the last bit, I remember all the lasses fancying him after it. We got plenty of Liz Taylor when we watched Taming of the Shrew though. When she's got that corset on Smashing when you're 15.

"What's the matter with you?" "I can't swim!" "Are you crazy, the fall will probably kill you!" You'd probs enjoy Wyatt Earp and Tombstone. Seen Tombstone and enjoyed it plenty. Googling Wyatt Earp brings up shit reviews but I could be looking at the wrong one. Kevin Costner?

Materialism: The "What have you bought?" Thread

Is that in store or online? Got to be worth a pop for that price. -
He was giving Lennon about 5/10 yards of space everytime he had the ball, man. I'm sure he's a lovely lad but he's not any attributes that makes a Premier League full-back. He's not even strong or quick to make up for it. That's Perch btw, not Maldini

Forgot all about that! Amazing film and the script is probably one of the best in film history. And I'll defend that point to the death.

Champion; been looking through the site and there's some bargains to be had, for sure. Cheers very much.

Any cheap places online to get Asian films btw? Not the kind Jimbo's an expert on either

Battle Royale Moon City of God for me. I think, they just come straight to mind. No room for Lost in Translation, The Assassination of Jesse James, Amelie or Infernal Affairs, it would appear. I'm fond of In Bruges as well.
-
Ideally, we'd be getting some canny left-back cover in. Perch shouldn't be cover for anywhere in the side, god bless him.
-
Is Moon in there?
-
Back to the Future would be in there. Not sure why I love it so much, it's obviously a good film but there's something about the whole premise that makes me love it to bits. The third one is canny as well but the second one is a bit shite. Taxi Driver is up there as well. De Niro is unbelieveable in it, the scene at the presidential rally is one of my favourite scenes of any movie and the end sequence with the gunfight in the brothel is immense from the little conversation between him and Harvey Keitel to the ending. Love it.

I take it you're the one with long hair?! Aye and I would like to take a moment to tell everyone that it's not Bill Bailey long hair either. Locks that the short back and sides brigade could only dream of having

Twitter isn't capable of the impossible. I used twitter to get little snippets of info before anyone else, you add media people who release things before they're published. I chat to that Sky bloke Pete Graves a bit, toon fan seems canny, Rio Ferdinand too but yuou cant have a conversation because you only get 140 characters. People like me and Gemmill are always good for a bit of ITK too. I get the famous bit. The bit I don't get is why would you follow Tom on twitter when you already converse with him on here. Because I fancy him, what of it?

Class signing, genuinely chuffed with it. But, where does he play? On the left? Behind Carroll? Really, a player this good is one you build things around but it's interesting to wonder where he'll fit in with how we play.
-
I think it'll be a harder game than the last one but we've got a stronger midfield than them so we'll win that battle. If it's Shola and Best up front, you've got to wonder how Best is going to do. Despite him being here for almost a year, I know next to nowt about how he actually plays. Nee point in complaining in advance though, you never know, he might pop up with the winner like Harewood did a couple of times last season.
