  1. Cameron Jerome I hope Hughton spends that well.
  2. That's what I was thinking. If I go out to meet my mates socially, I'll have a drink because I like the taste of me whiskey and cokes. That doesn't mean 6 hours later, I'm pissing through someone's letterbox and getting a divorce.
  3. When Owen scored against the mackems during Keegan's second spell, I got hit full whack in the head with a pie during the celebrations.
  4. That might have had something to do with World War 2. Though you'd no doubt be posting while on the frontline.
  5. Them or the Chemical bros were my favourite I think. Not seen everything like. Chemicals are always excellent but the Wu Tang were berating the crowd half way in for not understanding what they were watching and then dragged them along in the end. Mint. Crazy ass white fools.
  6. Maybe the most accurate depiction of Thomson House there has been. I went on Work Experience and it was shit.
  7. My favourite non-Ringo song to drum. Top summer tune
  8. Getting the psych and sunshine pop ready for the summer.
  9. 35 minutes on the bbc glasto site. http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/festivals/glast...cream/#p00hsm9z smashing cheers Higher Than The Sun, man. Fucking immense; it's what a live band should sound like.
  10. Went to see them on their Screamadelica tour and they were fucking mint then. Sounded like a bunch of twenty year olds up there. They jammed Higher Than The Sun for about 10 minutes but it never dragged and the songs like Come Together were perfect for a live setting. Inspiring stuff.
  11. Aye, he's really good. Heard his cover of Femme Fatale by Velvet Underground?
  12. First album is basically just this one bloke and his guitar but he's got a great voice, there's some nice guitar playing and good arrangements. His EP, Blood Bank and this second album have furthered the sound slightly; it's fuller, got more of a backing and has that similar sort of sound Fleet Foxes have about them. Very good stuff though, worth a listen.
  13. Catfish. All a bit mental. A documentary about a bloke that begins a relationship with someone on the other side of the country through Facebook but all is not as it seems (it's not a bloke). I know that's not selling it but there's a whole debate over the authenticity of it; some believe it's a highly elaborate scripted movie while others think it's all reality. Nevertheless, it's a weird look at the anonymous nature of internet communication and how it's changed the way we talk.
  14. I would have said music for IT Technicians but I imagine they're into Joy Division. People scared of actual music?
  15. I think what bothers me about the main headliners is the sheer lack of energy they've got. Good live performances are all about playing the music with some real passion and energy. U2 obviously couldn't really give a shit and Coldplay's music has always had the energy of a wet fart anyway.
  16. What a shitefest the coverage has been this year. I kna they're not going to show the good stuff but it would be nice not to be subjected to Coldplay.
  17. Immense drum intro. Listening to Bon Iver's new one at the minute. As it began, it started raining. That kind of album.
  18. Have a smoke every now and then when me and my pal are sitting with guitars being dirty hippies.
  19. Do some people think Ashley doesn't have the final say.regarding the things on the list like? Christ alive.
  20. Redhead opposite me last night with mint chebs. Werent massive, just a good set of crowd pleasers. She definitely noticed me looking like, filthy bitch.
  21. They fit reet tight arund the arse like. Much like Paul Wyn.
