Used to have a canny free-kick though and that was our sole reason for signing Ryan Taylor, I'm fairly sure.

More of a careless whisper IMO. Which of course will appeal to CT even more.

12 days to get a left back and striker in
Ayatollah Hermione replied to Holden McGroin's topic in Newcastle Forum
We'll get one or the other. If it's a striker, it'll be someone shite. If it's a left-back, it'll be someone shite. -
Go on, Alex! Sort them oot.

That's no good if there's an emergency and someone wants to ring you. There's no emergency big enough to justify waking me up before I'm ready.

I like his Dear Diary © Happy Face, postings after his match-day experiences. It's nice to know that he didn't have room for a pud after his eleven cheeseburgers, twelve pints of Kronenberg and seven pizzas.

When you say English goalkeepers, do you mean they play in England or they are English?

I read an article saying we were looking for experienced cover. Owt more in it?

Shola should always start against the Mackems. All logic is thrown aside when Shola is fit for the derby.

Draw written all over this. Which I'm sure Rice will be thrilled with at FT.

I thought it might have been the ones about MCs on E or something like that. -
I can't see us even going for Bridge unless it's a loan deal. Unless it was a case of City giving him away. Like you though I don't think I'd want him on a permanent deal. He's got to be a better option than Perch or Ryan Taylor at LB though unless he's completely finished. Can't see any of the alleged targets being in place before the match on Saturday like. Likewise but I could see them signing him as they did Nolan just to get someone in and that would mean having to pay silly wages for once. Canny worrying that we're going into Saturday without a recognised LB or a decent striker. Top notch planning as ever.
-
Can't say I want Bridge like. But, getting him on loan and paying him stupid wages seems exactly like something we'd do if we're getting desperate.

ERM, £2,200 ACTUALLY I didn't say I was going to buy it but it's my dream guitar. Much like a vintage 68 Ludwig is my dream kit.
-
One day for me : 1. I wish I had the money 2. I wish I was good enough to justify spending it

You guitarists are ten a penny, just look at this thread

One step away from a Toontastic super group tbh. She could be my replacement when the drugs do me in.

Well, if she's good and she enjoys it, could still keep it up as a hobby. I've got nowt spare I could give you like sadly since I use one of my spare hi-hats as a splash (a good idea to save money btw ) and I only have spare cymbals. If she can't take a full kit, floor tom, snare and a hi-hat will help her learn. Could turn the floor into a mini-bass if you get a pedal and set it on the floor. I basically learned by jumping in and being forced to play Fire and Whole Lotta Love in bands though so any basic rudiments, I'm shite. Shite at explaining and teaching the rudiments, not doing them. I'm fucking mint

Tom, just watching that video you posted a couple of month back and your sister has canny natural timing considering she'd only been playing for a few hours. Is she still drumming? If she is, I'll try and remember a big list of songs that I used to put in a big iPod playlist when I was a few months into playing. May not be to her tastes but I tried to pick as many that could keep my stamina going (AC/DC), help me learn when to dial it back (some Neil Young, Rumours-era Fleetwood Mac, some slower folky stuff) and just go a bit mental at the end of practice (any Who and Warpigs) If she's not any better at a range of stuff after 2 weeks of playing that list, I'll give you your money back.
