  1. Is there videos of us celebrating Cabaye's second anywhere? Never been a part of a crowd going that mental before like. I actually thought Perch was canny second half, was winning a lot of headers and not being so suicidal with the ball. Simpson on the other hand was shite and Marveaux seemed to be full of trickery and technique but had to keep coming inside all the time. The couple of times Obertan took his man on, he beat him and won something for us so I hope he takes some confidence from it. Ba gave Samba a nightmare at times, Santon was canny at RB but never looks a LB. Seems too right-footed. Overall though, was a mental game to be there for and it wasn't too soul-crushing being there. Was just a relief that your heart could relax. Tell you what like, Cabaye is fucking lush in the flesh.
  2. GTAIV isn't a bad game, it's just not as unrestrained as the PS2 games. Different, yes, bad, no.
  3. The historical inaccuracies in POTC are odd because Disney has a fine tradition of sticking to the facts.
  4. Thor - Enjoyable enough but with all comic book movies, the daftness is off the scale
  5. The idea that Stevie's rang up the box office before, called them cunts and now they're taking their revenge is making me laugh a fair bit, sorry, mate.
  6. Taylor's shattered face should see him on the bench at least for Wednesday. Maybe his injuries have stunted his development as a player?
  7. Was probably injured on Saturday if his recent history of playing through injuries is anything to go by. Lovenkrands to start on Wednesday, I assume.
  8. If you're asking "did you feel yourself in the pub when he celebrated?", I can't lie and say no.
  9. http://goalshighligh...ic-cabaye-goal/ What a sexy bastard
  10. Almost put a bet on Cabaye to score. Not as bad as my prediction that Bent would score a hattrick against West Ham but so fuck. What a mint day. Cabaye is mint, Ben Arfa is mint, Marveaux is mint, Tiote is mint, Coloccini is mint. Europe is possible, the Carling Cup is possible. YES
  11. Mate's been trying to get me and him tickets for this but the site is fucked apparently. Reckons he just wants £25 off me for it which is a relief because £55 is robbery.
  12. Some interesting things about Ryan Taylor's effectiveness at LB.
  13. Excellent choice. How good are those early singles, man? Butler's guitar work is incredible.
  14. Fucking hell, I'll put my CV in next time, I think.
  15. Agreed. He basically laid the foundations for everything we're seeing with regards to spirit, togetherness and even getting some connection and respect back with the fans and the players. Started us on the way to staying up comfortably last season as well and really got the best out of a group of players who we thought were lost causes. Got Coloccini settled and playing, got Nolan scoring, brought Carroll along ridiculously well, got Barton to keep his head down and play well and that's before mentioning him walking the Championship, 5-1 against the Mackems, beating Arsenal away, steam rolling Villa, looking class in a suit etc.
  16. Why did they make him dress in his usual gear? Like I'm not going to know which one Usain Bolt is when he's surrounded by chubby white people?
  17. Cabaye's wife should be more worried, tbh. Cabaye is a man of true honour. I bet his reckless days are all behind him now.
  18. I would shag Hayley McQueen if she was serving me in Greggs, SSN has nowt to do with it. Those hairnets
  19. If you think it looks massive in small hands, it looks better between small feet.
  20. Aye, fair play to Pardew for his job. The team spirit can only be because none of the players know he's rattling their wives yet. Except Cabaye's because who would ever cheat on him?
