  1. Nah! This was the big fad in the states about 5 years ago. Not for me all those ingredients in one glass! Reminds me of when were young and we all saw Rocky for the first time. We all went home and dared each other to down raw eggs. Yuk. And don't bother telling me how nice it tastes either. (now that I think about it I'm pretty sure we had a juicer some years back although I think it gone used more for making ice cram milk shakes. There was a place in Belfast did smoothies / fresh juices. They did this banana, strawberry, orange combo called (I shit you not) 'Love Juice'. That had a different meaning at my school. Theres a smoothie shop called that in Eldon Square, isn't there?
  2. Cheers. Aye, me mates who haven't got them have been like flies roond shite for the games he's been in hospital like! Apparently he'll likely be in 10 days, and he missed the Man Utd game, but could hear the roars from the RVI which made it more frustrating. He was there as a little laddie when we won the FA Cup in 1955. Heh, he'll be back next to you before you know it. If he's seen us win a trophy, he might be a good luck charm for our Europe push
  3. All the best, Stevie, mate. Hope your dad's recovery goes well. Did you end up getting him that half season ticket when they were reduced?
  4. Most of the Starz content is shite so I wouldn't worry too much http://www.flixist.c...ix-206654.phtml Haven't seen that Let Me In so will give that a go tonight. Might watch Mortal Kombat for a laugh too.
  5. Know fuck all about this but just dropping in to say good luck with it all. If for whatever reason, you need a drummer or someone to write your biography when you make it rich, give me a bell.
  6. I'm still waiting for Tom to invent the Led Zeppelin IV
  7. Ye mad bastard. Once you're half way through season 1, you'll be a fan
  8. Would have been Liverpool away. Would have been mint going down there with an actual forward line, Tiote and Colo.
  9. Started watching Party Down which is good. Netflix's deal with Starz is ending at the end of next month though and apparently that's going to take away a lot of the movie content on the US version. Lot of series ending from tomorrow on there too.
  10. Boro can do them at the Riverside like. Mackems' hit and hope tactics were absolutely dreadful, no wonder he wants Kevin Davis if that's his grand tactical plan.
  11. Cabaye is proving far too easy to get riled up, mind. Needs to calm down or else teams will try to get him to do more dodgy tackles.
  12. Club in decline hires club "hero" with outdated transfer policies and tactics who rides wave of popular opinion simply for nostalgia sake. Brings vilified characters in the game together with excessive price tags, fumbles in league, declines in important competitions and reaches fever pitch with racist remarks toward a fellow player. Because of manager and club's standing in the media (through the media being littered with ex-pros of the club from top to bottom), attention is instead spun towards the slightest of victories in cup competitions to distract away from poor league standing and regressive policies on progressive issues in sport and society. Because of media favouritism, we are treated to a sickening 45 second slow motion shot of racist, knuckle dragging fans celebrating the team of wife-beaters, drunks, racists and disrespectful players with added shots of racist perpetrator in adulation as mass media fawns over the victory, hypothesising that the messiah could win a cup to detract from the decline of a once successful and respected club. It surely can't be real, it's all too well written to be real.
  13. For someone who hadn't seen the racism that used to be at the matches years ago, watching that today was terrible, made worse by ITV's complete ignorance of it. Now, you've got Gerrard giving "credit to the fans" and legitimising the monkey noises and young kids abusing Evra because he sees his elders and role models saying that everyone else is wrong in this scenario. This feels like some kind of horrifying What if? scenario brought to life. A lot of respect to Evra for remaining dignified, even in his mistake at the end. Hell sight better than that little prick celebrating in the stands will ever be.
  14. I might honestly put a complaint in against ITV. Their bias and complete ignorance toward an issue that needed to, at least, be highlighted in the wider context of the match, and the game was a disgrace. How Liverpool's cup runs are being portrayed as a brilliant return to greatness in the media is a shocking piece of journalism and may as well be a work of fiction.
  15. Best's just had a bairn up here apparently. Can't see him leaving. Wouldn't mind Lovenkrands going on loan with view to permanent switch.
  16. Liverpool are an absolute disgrace to football.
  17. All Pardew said was that Carroll wouldn't be leaving. I'm willing to think that was the case until a bid for 35 million pounds came in from The World's Worst Transfer Policy. You make it sound like no chairman has ever hired his mates before, for whatever reason. I liked Hughton as well but the progress without him has largely been down to Pardew building on the foundations he left behind. I think Mourinho is a bit of a bellend with a history of dodgy carry-on but I think I could forgive him if he turned up on our touchline.
  18. It's mystifying how we got Nolan scoring that many. Chris Hughton must have had him on the marching powder.
  19. He's just a kid with too much money tbh. The stamp wasn't a stamp and his other carry-on is either just immaturity or impressively spontaenous cash giveaways. He's given away more than the postcode lottery in Manchester if all the stories are true. Compared to his racist, cheating contemporaries, I don't mind a bit of arrogance.
