i know we're competing for champions league places, but i'd prefer you lot win this one. primarily because it hurts arsenals title bid. it's a tricky quandary. i hate liverpool. i hate their fans a lot more than i hate the club mind. i don't like arsenal but i really can't stand arteta. slott i don't mind (yet). it would be quite funny re klopps reputation if slott won the league with basically the same squad. it would be quite funny to see arteta continue on his meltdown. so my hopes are with you guys for this one. and city will just have to make up the ground another day. if we have it in us this season. ideally you'll win it with something really controversial too

i feel fairly confident that there won't be a protracted negotiation. we don't have the time. i suspect we will approach a select few candidates at the same time. complete one or two and declare (or fail to get any targets) if we fail with our first choice targets i hope we don't slip too far down the list... bellingham? nope. yes we need legs with rodri out and gundo done but neither rodri nor gundo were ever exactly speedy. for me, we need a 6 and an 8. also all city players need good close ball control. i personally have no idea if Bruno is right for us but he usually looks decent the few times i've watched him.

it think we'll make an offer of X. if you turn it down we'll move on without a follow up bid. If you say how about X + Y we'll consider that and if it's wrong move on. city don't have time to waste. my best guess is 75.

wish i had your confidence. very difficult to make worthwhile signings in january and if enough players are coming back from injury they may decide to wait until summer. it's not as if this lot haven't proved themselves before. i agree he has plenty of ego but to be fair to him he's earned it. plenty of managers and players with huge ego's that are undeserving. hmmm is a big ego a prerequisite for being a manager?

some blues have been calling for his head. i notice that none of them have been on bluemoon for more than a few years mind you.
