  1. what impresses me is that we've got a full house before the stand has even been built. 🙂 I assume that your owners are having similar thoughts. even if only watching brief on us for now.
  2. i'm getting my excuses in now but we have real madrid either side of you guys followed by liverpool. we're also trying to "manage" our squad back to full fitness whilst integrating new players. you have Bruno and Tonali in midfield. it has the potential to be Arsenal all over again. unless you have some issues too?
  3. yeah, i tend to stay offline when we lose. back in the 80s i was never online.
  4. assuming we're not playing in the conference league next season , this is where you'll be visiting (as of August 2025) ... the current campus with the stadium in the distance. city's footprint extends beyond this but i've polluted your forum with enough images
  5. lol my ban has been lifted. i guess an admin looked at the temporary ban and agreed with me my view of Ronaldo.
  6. think i might have to take a break from here until around a week after we play. i think we're very vulnerable right now and we have real madrid either side so we're there for the taking if truth be told. however the game unfolds, we'll see incidents differently. what i think is blatant you'll have the opposite view and think its blatant too. obviously i'll be right but it's your forum so i'll have to keep stum. either i won't want to be here, or you won't want me here.
  7. ah fair point are you okay with the twitter rip off, bluesky, links https://bsky.app/profile/slbsn.bsky.social/post/3lhlvx5gqo22r
  8. looks like City have launched a fresh apt challenge. this time to the november amendments. if only the premier league would stick to the laws of the land ... new apt rules challenge
  9. rooting for you guys in the final. just remember to stay away from VVD's elbows.
  10. actually i think i violated this rule "Racist/xenophobic/homophobic/misogynistic/transphobic or any bigoted comments will not be tolerated, nor will extreme political views." by calling Ronaldo a Tranny. Weird i didn't get a warning. I've cleared my cookies and gone on the site to see if i can tell what i did. all my posts from the haaland thread are gone. thats the thread with the Ronaldo debate.
  11. i did wonder if my profile pic might get me a ban. but the way i see it, it makes it clear who i support.
  12. Well when you start winning lots of stuff this place will get flooded with plastics. You'll find that you are called a legacy fan, a FOC, and the new fans will hate having to put up with you.
  13. i think there is a rag lurking on bluemoon who took offence and reported me for called Ronaldo names
  14. Might have to live here for the next week or so. I've received a temporary ban on bluemoon and i have no idea why. - You have been banned for the following reason: Rules violations. Your ban will be lifted on 14 Feb 2025 at 8:37 AM. Not sure if i should feel proud or embarrassed. Do you guys ever issue bans and what would i need to do to get one (Other than referring to Man United as United)?
  15. Want is a bit strong i think. It's more a case of Liverpool winning the league will be an easier pill to swallow. And whilst i don't like to use the word hate, Liverpool make it usable,
  16. Yeah and Haaland (no doubt) replied, "takes one to know one"
  17. The most annoying thing about yesterday's result is i can't have sky sports transfer window on. No radio, no tv. Hmm maybe a blessing.
  18. imo, when bad behavior is common across the team then it comes from the manager.
  19. I'm absolutely rooting for you guys against the arse. Smelly Miles or whatever he's called epitomized Arsenals absolute lack of class with that piss take. I don't like Liverpool or Arsenal, but given the choice, Liverpool winning the league will be the easier pill to swallow as Slott seems a decent enough bloke (so far).
  20. whatever happens now my beloved City will have a major rebuild in the summer . we've always been vulnerable to quick counter attacks. even with Rodri. what we used to do is keep possession and press quickly when we lost possession. now we have speed merchants that lose possession to easily. no legs in midfield and a gap between midfield and defence. all sorts of problems so fill your boots.
  21. Just like with Isak, Khusanov only started because we had no-one else. Stones maybe could have played but we need him for tomorrow night and he's fragile as hell. Usually Pep takes his time to bed players in but we have an injury crisis. It's finally starting to clear up, but the players coming back need to be fed back slowly or they'll get injured. On a different note Bobb has been training a while so i'm hopeful i'll see him at the etihad tomorrow night. A rare midweek game for me.
  22. Squad replacement for Julian Alvarez in terms of numbers. The lad looks a bit of alright. I hadn't heard of him on December. Who? Supposedly he's very quick, think he looked like a rabbit in headlights for the first 20 minutes. Looked ready to cry not helped by no-one speaking his language. Settled in eventually. I reckon he'll be fine although i think i said on here that i can see him getting a couple of reds. I hadn't heard of him on December. City fans are currently living one incident away from a heart attack.
  23. this is kinda how i think. i'm not a fan of comparisons. city fans like to compare Fernandinho and Rodri, not me. I love them both and am grateful for both have given to my club. I hate the debates of is X better than Y when both X and Y are/were awesome (not to say i don't jump in feet first occasionally). Sometimes its easy, Rodri v Viniscius is Rodri all day for me as i think Viniscius us a nasty piece of work. Messi vs the Tranny is not so easy, 2 great players with one having a penchant for women's clothes. Foden vs Saka not so easy as they are both great players. Sure Foden has contributed to a lot of silverware including being standout in the U17 World Cup. But Foden has been surrounded by great players, wheras Saka has had to make do with Arsenal players, Keegan was great. Great to watch. But Howe might well bring the silverware. I would be more than happy if Howe rocked up as City manager in a couple of years (doubt he will). Would be curious to have seen yester years Keegan follow Pep.
