Just like with Isak, Khusanov only started because we had no-one else. Stones maybe could have played but we need him for tomorrow night and he's fragile as hell. this is kinda how i think. i'm not a fan of comparisons. city fans like to compare Fernandinho and Rodri, not me. I love them both and am grateful for both have given to my club. I hate the debates of is X better than Y when both X and Y are/were awesome (not to say i don't jump in feet first occasionally). Sometimes its easy, Rodri v Viniscius is Rodri all day for me as i think Viniscius us a nasty piece of work. Messi vs the Tranny is not so easy, 2 great players with one having a penchant for women's clothes. Foden vs Saka not so easy as they are both great players. Sure Foden has contributed to a lot of silverware including being standout in the U17 World Cup. But Foden has been surrounded by great players, wheras Saka has had to make do with Arsenal players, Keegan was great. Great to watch. But Howe might well bring the silverware. I would be more than happy if Howe rocked up as City manager in a couple of years (doubt he will). Would be curious to have seen yester years Keegan follow Pep.
