Think he played half a dozen times in various cups, maybe a bit more. But yeah that's how we manage our net spend. It's pretty much how we funded Grealish's fee.

I think UEFA have had a grumble about CFG ownership ahead of Girona in the CL. I'm sure they'll firm up a few charges soon enough Another rule tweak inbound as they have no problem with all the Red Bull teams. Savio isn't actually a Girona player. He's just on loan there.
-
Have you guys had any confirmed activity yet? We have OUT: Taylor Harwood Bellis to Southampton for £20m (his loan had a compulsory clause to that effect that got triggered on promotion) IN: Strong rumour on Savio from Girona. He was bought by the CFG for Troyes and then loaned to Girona and now the loan is up. Both of those clubs are part of the CFG so should be straight forward if we want him.

Hey i never said he's the one that i want (not that i wouldn't mind him), i'm just saying what our supposed ITK's say. We do need cover for Rodri but i'm more worried about KDB (no spring chicken) and Silva (it's been said he wants barca every summer for about 4 years now and his new contract has 50m clause). You can't replace like for like at that level. It's more a case of replacing quality with quality and those 2 will be tricky to replace.

I suspect you're right. most of them partied until 5am when we won the league. I don't really begrudge them that. They're not machines and the title race was pretty monumental this season. 3 teams until the dippers had an almighty wobble. Since the draw with Arsenal we had to win our last 9 games, no meant feat. Not having that Pep got his tactics wrong, he was just covering for his players. I so need a break from football now. i'm exhausted watching it lol. Our top targets are rumored to be Savio, Paqueta and Bruno. Paqueta's a non starter now. Bruno seen as someone to play alongside and instead of Rodri. He needs help at its clearly not KP. It's bluemoon transfer forum chat so may be nothing in it.

i assumed he was joking, from your reply i guess he wasn't lol i have thicker skin than that, but thanks

yep, newcastle losing a cup final to sunderland AND being married to a sunderland fan. that's the pain i went through. we have a rule in our house. on derby day you only get until midnight to take the piss. without that rule our marriage might not have lasted 20 years!

sorry about that fellas. bad as it was for you, i reckon it was worse for me. my missus is a man united fan as is my youngest. and my youngest hasn't learnt to lose gracefully yet. me and the eldest just had to take it. when the wife says "don't be upset, at least you won the league", it doesn't help (well maybe a little bit). the only consolation is that leeds lost, cos i hate leeds.

Vinny is bang average as a manager at best. But his players were bang average too. From a Man City point of view, seeing him tested at elite level will show if he can do it with elite players. -

mate that's fair enough. also i hadn't realised i twisted (or misunderstood) what you said. so i apologise for that. it's obviously a touchy subject for us blues. i will leave it there too. i do though suspect we both agree that playing an extra game at the end of a long season on the other side of the world seems like utter madness. at the start of the season i get, but the end wow. -

I get that. I do. Along similar lines I used to do equity work. When you're looking at an oil that straddles boundaries deciding what percentage belongs to whom is worth many millions. So if we didn't maximise our clients percentage they don't come back. But there are limits to how far you can go given that ultimately your reputation is on the line too. You're entitled to your view on this specific case of course, but i personally don't believe that those companies are going to risk there reputations for little old city. I also don't believe that an investment company like silverlake would have bought in if their due diligence on these charges didn't show that city are above board. there are other considerations too. khaldoon, for instance, has a reputation to uphold. he isn't going to oversee dodgy deals to the tune of a few million at city and risk jeopardising his standing with world leaders and world business leaders via mubadala ( His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak | Mubadala ). CFG is worth millions, Mubadala is worth billions. -

with all due respect as i'm on your forum, but that's misinformed bollocks If you are saying that we couldn't prove that we didn't cheat? Thats not our job. It's UEFAs job to show that we did cheat. Essentially City put forward a legitimate set of accounts. UEFA essentially said the accounts were lies. CAS looked at UEFAs case and said there is no evidence of wrong doing. Case thrown out. It really was that simple. Time plays no part when there is no evidence. UEFA presented no evidence for the time barred charges and no evidence for the time, er, not-barred charges. -

agree on Jon Stones, assuming he's fit and assuming we can rely on those behind him -

for me, foden is best in an advanced midfield role, not on the wings we played Foden alongside KDB ahead of Rodri in midfield at the weekend i'd play a midfield 3 of Rice behind Bellend and Foden -

i disagree, i think the PL were foolish to launch a case that they can't win. it's taking them a very long time to gather their evidence and present their case. and thanks, i just want lots of food now, dieting does not suit me. -

I'm sorry but i don't buy that those that have either audited or done due diligence on Manchester City including Etihad, Etisalat, Abu Dhabi Royalty, CFG, Roberto Mancini, Al Jazira Sports and Cultural Club and its former CEO, Phil Anderton, Deloitte, BDO, Ernst & Young, AlixPartners, Our Chinese private equity company who i can't remember, Silver Lake ( leading Silicon Valley private equity fund, that now owns approximately 20% of the CFG and its billionaire founder and co-CEO, Egon Durban, sits on CFG’s board) are all in cahoots. That none of them have found any wrong doing. Investors such as silver lake do due diligence before investing. Accounting firms are careful when they know theres an issue as their reputation is on the line Conspiracy Theories and Innuendo will not prove the alleged Manchester City Conspiracy (substack.com) -

obviously i have to defend that load of tripe. UEFA case the PL case appears to be based on those self same emails. those emails were stolen. they were also edited. and they were mis-interpreted. they were out of context and CAS saw the rest of the emails putting them in context many further points such as - It was demonstrated that the sheikh referenced by initials was not in fact sheikh mansour (thats why you need the whole picture) the emails were declared as admissible by CAS. the time barred charges were the same as charges that weren't time barred (just different years). no evidence was provided for any of the charges. even with the emails it was repeatedly ruled that there was no evidence of wrong doing (bar non co-operation) an excerpt from the CAS ruling littered with highlighted no evidence statements. The non cooperation fine was reduced from 30m to 10m for one simple reason. we co-operated fully up until UEFA leaked business sensitive information to the press. we then stopped cooperating and stated to CAS that we didn't feel we could trust UEFA anymore. CAS accepted that but the fact remained that we didn't cooperate so they reduced the fine from 30m to 10m Premier League Case stolen evidence is inadmissible under english law. The PL is a club following club rules but they still have a duty to follow English law and it states as such in their handbook. presumably the PL are looking for us to give them the evidence that shows we've done wrong. City are understandably saying - but we haven't done wrong so that evidence doesn't exist. so tell us what documents you want. PL say they want everything and City say you can't have everything as some is confidential so be more specific. PL want to see documents from Etihad but Etihad have no such obligation. However Etihad are being floated so all documents will be available then (if we're guilty that would seem a bad move on our behalf) PL haven't even spoken to Mancini Its widely reported that the PL is David and city are Goliath. But the PL are represented by the finest in the land so thats poppycock. Its widely reported that City tried to keep the case private because they've done wrong. But actually the City AND the PL wanted it kept private. can't be bothered with listing more. Man City's Crime ? At the end of the day, win or lose all city have actually done is put money into their business. I won't lose any sleep over that. They haven't committed murder. hello liverpool fans They aren't drugs cheats. hello liverpool squad and your asthma, hello man united, rio, etc They haven't passed PL rules to stop competition, hello cartel They haven't hacked rival club databases - hello liverpool They haven't committed fraud - hello man united and all. They haven't taken money out of football - hello man united i had minor surgery this morning and needed a mini rant, let's hope i never have major surgery mini rant over - sorry lads -

And don't forget the fact that Liverpool are a completely manufactured club. Their founder, the beer brewer John Houlding, kicked Everton out of Anfield (by upping the ground rent) and therefore had a ground but no team (and therefore no fans to sell his beer to). So he bought a load of mercenary players, mainly Scottish ones. He wanted to call them Everton as well but wasn't allowed so he called them Liverpool instead. So Liverpool got their stadium for free. Houlding loaned shed loads of money to LFC and when he died it was due to be repaid to the family. However, the family realised that the club wasn't in a position to pay back the loans and any attempt to force them to do so would result in the bankruptcy of the club and the total loss of the money owed anyway. So they gave LFC a free pass by writing off the debt. Beer washing at it's finest. -
