Did he fuck try to pass that there. Shit commentating again

That was lucky

Hit the post? Nice to see some things never change 🤣

Missed most of the first half. Mate messaged to say Murphy is playing well. Not seen it myself though.

I just typed this in my family WhatsApp group and my mother is now asking me why she has looked at falconry. I don't know why but it has really made me laugh.

What did you think of Barnes performance? I would have preferred Barnes over Murphy if it had been needed based on overall ability and overall performances for us from each player. I really like Barnes but, based on that one game, I don't think he did anything in the West Ham game that would make me want to see him start for us.

Not sure that I was watching the same game. It was a night that just didn't go for us and felt it never would. So may passes that 75% just make it through ended up getting deflections off West Ham players. On the other hand the few chances West Ham got, went their way. It really wasn't that bad a night (after their second, the changes blunted us and we seemed like creating zero). I still think we had a pen. I just don't get VAR, no conspiracy that they are against us, or pro top 6 (ratios does seem otherwise) it just seems inept. Longstaff was not our worst starting player. Gordon is great but tried to make about 5 pointless Shelvey style passes before he was subbed. On another night Isak would have scored at least 2 of the chances he got. Murphy was nowhere near the worst sub (Barnes for me). I really like Barnes but he seemed to be trying to prove that Willock didn't do that bad a job before he was taken off. I also think Tino seemed to lack instinct when he was attacking. It was not horrible. Fine margins, going against us and for West Ham, happens more often in football than just our games.

You couldn't write it, unless you were a Sky commentator.

Flummoxed.
-
Am I getting something wrong here or do his stats not look all that great? Not horrible, just not impressive either.

Wonder if we still are wanting Guehi, would strengthen the chances of them all starting regularly for NUFC and England.

It would have been interesting to see how badly it would have been seen if he had knocked out an old man. Probably would have ended the full gravy train.

It was just an awkward watch. It is on par with an adult beating a kid at a game of 1:1 footy. It is obvious which way things are going to go. You hope for a wild punch that clearly isn't going to come from a gassed out bloke who is nearly 60. Just awkward.

I don't think that is too bad to be honest. I get their point- I would rather be viewed as garbage than a tory. I do get that their political views are wildly different to mine but it does appear to be a tongue and cheek outfit. Part of me wants to know how they printing on the bin bags, the other 97% of me knows that it would be knowledge that would never be useful.

I don't think Bruno's was as bad as that one. Maybe it is a bad memory of his tackle. The one in the League Cup.

How was that not a red?

I'm really hoping this a draw. No good for either of them. Man U win will boost confidence. A loss will be understood based on Chelsea this year. I didn't mind Chelsea under Abramovic but I really don't like them now. Still not as much as my dislike for Man U, Liverpool then Arsenal

Who hopes Palace get relegated and Guehi leaves on a free?

I didn't realise that you could view what people voted for so I normally go for a controversial vote regardless of the subject matter. I may change my approach moving forwards. -
So ASM is the better player? Although, if this is your opinion, I don't agree with you, everyone has their own view. I think I am in the minority of 1 who thinks that Longstaff offers us something when he plays. I don't think he is a Bruno, Joelinton or Tonali but I still think, although limited, he is an asset. I just wanted to know your current views on the situation.
