  1. Sky Q interface is a pain in the arse, when I get these errors it usually either storage is full or needs to be turned off at the mains and started up the long way (takes about 10 minutes). Sometimes both.
  2. Hey, ive made a lot of good friends from all those jobs. I cant speak for them but I'm pretty confident they'd both agree I'm actually not that much of a wanker.
  3. That thought has crossed my mind a few times like.
  4. I've had about 30 jobs and somehow had mostly decent colleagues. That's probably a lot to do with the fact most of my bosses were absolutely batshit mental. Bosses aside I can only think of a chef I worked beside. One of those weird cunts who constantly boasts about weird shit like how many cruises he's been on and how miles to the gallon he gets in his car. Last time I bumped into him his dog basically jammed it's nose up the arse of some random passer by while we were standing chatting. Poor woman literally shrieked and jumped into the air then looked at the dog and said something like "aw. could you smell my Daisy-May?" and casually walked off. Still to this day don't know whether Daisy-May is her own dogs name or a weird pet name for her vagina.
  5. I wasn't really fishing for a back story like but if "he hates David Moyes" and "I'd put money on him thinking Ashley is a great owner" is the only fodder you've got Ive got to admit I'm a bit disappointed.
  6. I dunno the history with @Toonraider tbf but in the interests of fair play I'll have to come clean and confess that my local team (part-time and fan owned) not only play in red and white but also share an acronym with the mackems. If that's not bad enough, their last home ground was called Annfield (not a typo, two n's).
  7. Funny though, everytime Bruce, his son or the pundits take a swipe at Newcastle castle fans for questioning Bruce's credentials I can't help but think about Rafa's short stint at Chelsea and the abuse he faced there. I don't recall him ever take at dig at the fans, actually I could swear he repeatedly said words to effect of "it's understandable, I don't expect them to like me but I'm here do a job and I plan to do that to best of my ability" Edit: actually i take that back, https://youtu.be/je3aZvJVWl0 But still handled it with more grace than Bruce ever could.
  8. Anyone see Alissons post match interview? Looked proper emotional and was thanking players and managers of rival clubs for all the support and kind messages. Then went on to "I can explain it, it was god's work" or something. Half of me thinks "aw that's nice. He seems like a really genuine bloke, goalies are usually weirdos and/or headcases". The other half is thinking "what the the fuck has Carlo Ancelotti got to do with anything? A fuck off with this "gods work" patter. Yer 6'5 and were unmarked for a decent delivery from a corner." Decent finish though and it probably wound Big Sam up no end.
  9. Crap math fact: if you measure attendance increases in terms of percent Bruce could legitimately claim a 10,000% increase in tonight's attendance from the last home game.
  10. Suppose I should've been able to work that out like.
  11. His current wife or the one died after a long cancer battle? @TheGingerQuiff
  12. "Those aren't tissues. And that's not my knee"
  13. Spent most of the day decorating while listening to old Carcass albums, currently winding down listening to this utter nonsense like a proper degenerate
  14. I'd be tempted to give him the benefit of the doubt like unless he seems like he's begging for attention. It's not all that far fetched. Driving thing aside I've also been unable to come into work because of my non-existent dog needed an emergency vet appointment and even met Duncan Disorderly twice and he was mostly sound tbh.
  15. See to be honest, Im all for the chance to watch the Old Firm b-teams get shown up by part-timers on a weekly basis. The Stirling Albion victory over Ally McCoists 4th tier Rangers team is honestly the only reason I've still got a DVD player. Actually, might put it on now.
  16. I resent that. It's not harsh in the slightest.
  17. Ha. That's reassuring, cheers. Back on topic then: in my experience, the troubles or the Irish famine just wasn't on the curriculum in British non-denominational schools in the mid 90s. Which is understandable, the full story isn't a great look for the Brits and likely wouldn't instil much in the way of national pride in reasonable people.
  18. Irish troubles aside, seems I owe @Kid Dynamite an apology. I just read over the last page and noticed I was in character assassination mode and had a go over absolutely fuck all. Sorry like. Nae excuses, just a bit sensitive to these subjects lately.
  19. Dunno if this will interest anyone but just got a message from another UK pedal builder who's packing it in and selling off all his stuff on the cheap. Not much left but some mad bargains, especially that Timmy and the Boss Chorus. https://ebay.co.uk/usr/dfx_parts
  20. Don't let me cramp your style like. If getting the latest gossip on 14 year kids found dead and naked in storm drains is your thing, crack on.
