I honestly font see it happening. Personally I see Newcastle pulling away and it just being three teams jostling for last spot. -

Lampard & Gerrard are English football legends & it makes sense for the media to promote that link. I think you may be a touch too fragile. -

I'm watching Burnley v Watford & think Burnley may have done well selling Wood for 25 & buying Weghorst for 12. The lad looks quite handy -

The game had intensity & was fun to watch but overall the quality is poor. It's really not much better than league 1 or 2 -

I totally agree with Burnley & Norwich but I think with Hodgson in charge of Watford they have become a bit of a wild card. He is notoriously well organized but will the team listen to him. It's gonna get crazy !! -

Frank seems to have a fair amount of stroke, he will have laid down some rules before taking the job & one of those would be no transfers done without his approval. -

Burnley really should have sold Tarks in the Summer when they could have replaced him. They are now between a rock & a hard place, they don't want to lose him for free but need him to avoid relegation. Now the nightmare gets worse when a direct relegation rival wants to buy him. -

I there a difference between having the wealthiest owners & being the wealthiest club ? Personally I don't think so. -
Just maybe or even a Dane but I was thinking along the lines of a Jorginho or Thiago type of player. Someone who can control a game.
-
Yes. A player at the end of his career who knew how to control the midfield & manage a game. Surely there is a player out there that fits that description & wants that big last payday.
-
I don't think 7 from 18 is totally unrealistic ! For me it all depends on which players join in this window. The bookies still think there's a chance.

It's a long way from over yet. remember what Leicester City did in 2015 Dead last on April 3rd but went on a winning run and finished 14th

Bookies have Newcastle as a clear favourite with the odds dropping. -
I have followed Chris Wood since he played at Leicester & think he is a solid "old fashioned" striker who will get goals if he gets service. He will enjoy Trippier putting crosses into the box for him ... Good move in my opinion !!

Burnley are looking to be in deep shit this season now if Chris Woods leaves. Maybe Tarkowski is next. -

I think location plays a big part as well, lots of players prefer London or close to London. Apart from that the Steven Gerrard factor is a biggie as well. -

I agree. It would make more sense to say 2 to 3 weeks and just keep adding a week. -

Unless they spend some money in January they are done. The definition of success with them is to survive.
