  1. no disrespect mate but I'd rather gouge me eyeballs out with a rusty spoon than spend any of my time studying the transfer dealings of those murdering bindipping cunts.
  2. they had other good players though. we had hendrick, hayden and fraser.
  3. all silverstone has done is double the price of a membership and sticker a tenner on the cheapest tickets. he's a cunt.
  4. we'd complied with psr though.... before he arrived. he then spent a month attempting to overspend on a defender at peak price and age. he should shut his fucking mouth.
  5. you don't win fuck all if you sell your best players. all our best players have been bought during the period since the takeover/howe, they contributed to us avoiding relegation, qualifying for the CL and narrowly missing out on europe last season. in minteh we sold a player with potential for a huge profit. we sold a player in anderson who was average and very obviously part of a fiddle, I'm actually quite proud we stuck two fingers up to masters and his bent rules to comply with psr. all in all, I'm not sure how any of this period hasn't been fit for purpose? if the context was not selling players bought in the ashley era it wouldn't have been very difficult to be specific on this surely?
  6. it's to be hoped Ast and Bre are at different altitudes otherwise there's a serious risk of a mid air collision.
  7. someone needs to tell howe he shouldn't be starting with longstaff, don't care if it's mitchell or any fucker else.
  8. so craig hope was right all along? toonpack isn't gonna take this well.
  9. introduction to motd2 there, flesh crawlingly embarrassing.
  10. for the love of good god almighty.... please stop making this such hard work! that said, barnes' goal, divine.
  11. sophia bush or jennifer jason leigh? the former for me, hands down....
  12. aye. I think a season ticket holder can only transfer a ticket to someone who's a paid for a membership. if you register on the official site, do you get a supporter id number? I suppose there's a small chance this might be enough, but seeing as they're hell bent on squeezing every last penny out the membership system I somehow doubt it!
  13. oz. superb bit of casting, even if it was a bit random how jimmy nail got the part. barry runs him a very close 2nd mind, could never understand how wayne was supposed to be such a chick magnet, but this bit here where he takes barry under his wing on the pull is a classic scene....
  14. maybe a tad on the optimistic side. however I think we'll win, by virtue of the fact it's hard to see us playing so poorly for 5 games in a row. the chook to run the show, confidence restored after having it battered by the dullard. 3-1 to the snuggle-bugs.
  15. mind you, if pickford's arms weren't so tiny....
  16. aye. 83/84 is probably my favourite ever season. wasn't just the promotion and the fact we actually played some fantastic football. but the size of the away following was incredible, we literally took over so many grounds that season. it's quite sad really that because of the relatively small away allocations at grounds these days that the younger generations are unlikely to get the opportunity to witness it with the consistency we did that season.
  17. noise was fucking deafening, before, during and after. fucking incredible.
  18. just found this one amongst them, the night we took anfield, arguably the best away end I've ever been in.....
  19. when we moved house at the beginning of the year I was sorting through the cupboard under the stairs and found these. I've never really been a programme buyer but for whatever reason I did actually buy a fair few during the 83/84 promotion season. there's most of the home programmes including keegan's farewell game against liverpool. bit disappointed there's not more of the away games ones there actually as I don't think I missed an away game that season. the oxford one is from 1990, it was my daughter's first ever match, she was 7 weeks old!
