  1. https://www.villatalk.com/topic/24016-pre-match-thread-cup-final-3-of-10/#comments a read of the match day thread on their forum is predominantly over confidence, some more cautious and fair smattering of comments from 'benny' halfwits like the one below. would like to think we'll give them a hiding but I also think writing off their chances on the basis they're only beating shit teams is a little over optimistic. there's no doubt emery is doing a good job there, he took over a team in the shit under gerrard and has turned it round. he may have started from a higher base than us with bruce/howe but it's still a reasonable reflection of what happened here with a proper coach In charge. its actually a compliment to our owners that they had emery so high on their list of replacements for bruce, even if as it turns out he lacked the bollocks to take the job! disappointed not to see @The Fish over there fighting the good cause! anyway.....
  2. what rio ferdinand needs is a fucking damn good hiding, the fucking repulsive halfwit. never forget....
  3. sat outside the van in a sunny brecon beacons, about to tune in to radio newcastle. last match I listened to on the radio was against a london team and we won 1-4.... howay the lads!
  4. makes my fucking flesh crawl, the plug faced cunt.
  5. i remember clearly the 8-1 in the mid 80s when peter beardsley ended up in goal, fucking depressing it was. the 'battering' they gave us last night though.... i'm finding it a lot easier to deal with!
  6. there's not much sense to take leave of in the first place, but whatever might've been there has now completely disappeared.
  7. now you mention it, it does appear to be on the t in trophyshy's first photo I quoted. look at the subsequent photos though and it's gone. something sinister going on here.
  8. a quick look over on the cesspit of rtg and poor staff member keith s30s appears to have got himself in a right little tizzy last night. match threads moved to parsnip and then later still merged with the sportswashing thread. numerous banning, references to mass choppings up (?) bless his little cotton socks! anyway, couple of my favourites, eddie's getting hounded out next season, bookmark this. ok mate will do they think we're jealous of them no, we know you are.
  9. shame you can't see the ball in that photo, but nonetheless, tremendous! the lad is gonna be a legend here.
  10. cool as fuck, stood there watching it go in with his hands on his hips! just about to find motd on iplayer, think I might watch it a few times meself!
  11. im on a four game winning streak, somebody needs to sort me a ticket for this as a matter of urgency!
  12. step 4 complete. in the pride of paddington, nowhere fucking near as salubrious as the percy. no cash payment, £6.55 a pint. robbing cockney cunts!
  13. steps 1&2 negotiated, step 3 in progress. a paddington pub is rapidly approaching. thank fuck for that!
  14. cheers mate. i was thinking of setting off from here at 3 for his route, would you reckon that might be pushing it for yours with the m25 in mind?
  15. i was going to this with a west ham supporter too, season ticket holder, lives in cheltenham. he rang me last night and now can't make it due to work. anyway, he's given me a list of instructions to get to the game from here, what a fucking carry on man, to say nowt of being expensive, cheaper for me to go to newcastle! i'm gonna assume he knows what he's talking about seeing as he does it every other week, but do you know of an alternative where it's possible to drive further and spend less time fucking about with trains? drive to slough. pay for parking at slough train station car park. get the overground to paddington have a couple of beers in a bar at paddington leave the paddington pub 1 hour 15 mins before the match get a 4 zone travelcard on the elizabeth line to stratford. walk for 20 minutes for fucks sake!
  16. to finish in top 6 odds from 888sport. quite generous for villa considering the run they're on at the minute. I might invest a tenner! liverpool looked shot last night I thoughtand wouldn't be at all surprised if villa stay above them now. spurs I think could be catchable for them, also surprised that man utd are considered that much of a certainty they're not offering odds considering their slump since the league cup final. here's hoping for at least a brentford away draw tonight!
