@PaddockLad .... couple of spare paper anfield tickets up for grabs on some facebook page my travel mate uses yesterday, gone by the time he tried to contact him though. is the id/policing/threat of punishment of away tickets easing up a bit? I got ballot tickets in the gallowgate yesterday and was chatting to my main donor for aways last season at half time. shot me down in flames when I suggested he needs to start coming up trumps again. weddell and co. have definitely put the fear of living god in to him.

been to anfield many times over the years and always been a bit underwhelmed by their atmosphere. first time wasn't till the friday night 3rd round fa cup tie in '84 (?) when in fairness our support was deafening, but I'd say we've pretty much always out sang them. he probably will have pissed off some of the regular support, but I'd take a punt there'll also be a fair few who'll sympathise with his view.
