  1. as the moderator of this here thread there's one or two sailing close to the wind of being banned from it. i'm watching you.
  2. and yet (whilst not wanting to glorify this type of stuff) conveniently forgetting that newcastle's support literally took the piss out of them at roker park in a decade when hooliganism was at its worse. hard as nails the mackems though, never been a one chinned in history.
  3. wearside amnesty formed in 1975 wearside amnesty 171 facebook followers in 2023. rtg, the most inclusive, welcoming and bastion of both equality and morality on planet earth.
  4. a most enjoyable and safe trip to you mate... I'm sure the odd one or two on this thread who are adopting a more philosophical approach to this game are only doing so as a comfort blanket, we can beat these french cunts and I'm desperate that we do..... bring the 3 points home!
  5. pretty sure there's a photo of them lot knocking about from the same season being escorted back to manors station. dobson's bar was undoubtedly chocka with our more excitable support hoping to pick off some stragglers. not that I'd know owt about that sort of stuff mind.
  6. you never know, I like to fondly recollect (obviously not with rose tinted glasses) on being a big hit with the chicks when i was 21 there's a reasonable a chance I was there somewhere amongst the faded lee jeans and pringle golf jumpers!
  7. aye, fuck the mixed wrap in the shawarma grill house and the couple of celebratory pints in the grosvenor casino. first thing i did when i left the ground was run around the streets of our fair city frantically searching for an ee signal so i could reflect on the musings of keith 'camel humper' s30s and the newport nonce. need to stop doing this to meself really.
  8. before i even had the opportunity to state there'd be some outrageously offensive/unfathomable gobbledegook counter arguement from gemmill...... he's there.
  9. a bad tempered, bone crushing draw in today's earlier kick off?
  10. right then, just for clarity.... this is a champions league game held in paris which is the capital of france. kick off is 20.00 GMT, however should you happen to be over there or holidaying abroad somewhere on the continent it's an hour later at 9pm.... well apart from the algarve and the canaries. I think we'll win this 3 - 1 with isak running amok, violently barging in his team mates as each goal goes in. well, I hope so anyway. wished I was going!
  11. not for me that one mate. blue dippers all the way, would love for us to have a 5 point gap over the dutch nonce's rabble by 10pm next saturday.
  12. aye, bruno for me too, although there was a few times yesterday where I'd like to have seen him have a shot. seems to maybe lacking a bit of confidence to do so, shame because we've seen he can get more goals. what probably prevented gordon getting motm was most of our plsy went down the right in the 1st half, thought he looked a bit isolated at times, not so in the 2nd half and he was superb. absolutely love the lad I do. and agree about the importance of yesterday's win, last time out at bournemouth we were fucking woeful tiredness/injuries shouldn't mask that. we needed a good performance, gave it and kept ourselves in touch with the top 4 spots. all in all a thoroughly enjoyable day out and well worth the £62 I ended up forking out for the east stand in resale. just one little comment to add really, very envious of those headed over to paris in the next day or two, we can beat these french twats on their own patch too. it's utter fucking madness to suggest we'd be better off out the c.l. (you know who you are!) we spent all last season battling to qualify for the fucking thing, give it up now? nah, not for me... I don't want the milan game to be a dead rubber. get in to them and fuck the french cunts up.
  13. that's fucking outrageous that is. I went from someone who was guaranteed to get a ticket for any away game I wanted, to somebody who now can't get any. I made my decision to walk away under ashley and I fully accept the consequences of the situation I'm now in, it was my choice. I managed half our aways last season through the goodwill of others based on the network of friends and contacts I've known since the back end of the 70s as a regular away tripper and I'm very grateful to them as well as quite touched I hadn't been forgotten. I also fully appreciate that the current bordering on hostile policy by the club with regard to id'ing folk is opening avenues to young lads with fewer loyalty points to get tickets, again no arguments, my 19 year old nephew is benefiting and I'm delighted for him. that above is absolutely taking the fucking piss. shameful by the club in fact.
