  1. not the classic by legendary greek crooner demis roussos surely? I hope not, I might have to start liking them!
  2. imagine (™ rtg) .... a 6 game winning end to the season, a tottenham implosion an awarding of a 5th champions league place. I'd hear exile's head explode from monmouth.
  3. I can't remember that. thoroughly enjoyed having my eyes opened though!
  4. back in his days writing for the newcastle journal he was a massive apologist for sicknote 80kliks dyer, who when not on the treatment table was busy being a whopping thindercunt who couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. (for Alex )
  5. you're a more tolerant man than me. fought his way through multiple layers and folds of arse fat before finally reaching bruce's hoop. then stuck his tongue as far up it as he possibly could. never forgive, never forget. fuck him.
  6. my post from last night was me being at my most benevolent best.
  7. lest we forget...... bless him, one of the funniest things ever and a rare moment of light relief in the ashley era. happy onward journey joe.
  8. not so much unrequited love, more like stalking. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/bbc-article-inaki-and-nico-williams-two-brothers-one-club-and-a-40-year-wait.1631084/ this aupaalaves is a fucking loon, surprised the museum director/historian hasn't had some kind of restraining order put out on him. DanceoftheKnights comes up with the killer punch at the end of thread.... looking forward to aupaalaves reply!
  9. puts asprilla's somersaults to shame there too.
  10. canny photo, although why's there a couple of the bad guys from the descent been photoshopped in the middle of it?
  11. like a fucking yoyo beardsley. was a sensational signing by cox out of nowhere and a privilege to watch him in that promotion season playing along side keegan. tarnished things with his move to liverpool and waving to the kop while still playing for us. came back and was once again magnificent to watch with keegan as his manager. went way beyond 'tarnish' subsequently though by turning in to a massive ashley sycophant as well as a bit of a racist bully towards kids. will never forget his hat trick against the mackems on new years day a couple of months after signing, shame really that the latter stuff nullifies it a bit. well, for me anyway.
  12. bit of a anton du beke/anne widdecombe paso doble.
  13. same photo taken with a special mackem lens...
  14. wrong blob mate, @Howmanheyman was undoubtedly referring to the classic 50s b movie and steve mcqueen's finest acting moment. bollocks to the great escape motorcycle chase, this has to be seen....
  15. was reading in one thread over there that of late when the attendance figure has been announced on the tannoy it's been greeted with howls of laughter. anybody who admits to laughing at the grossly inflated number is rounded on as being obsessed and what does it matter anyway. this despite the fact they run a ticket sales tracker for every home game where they all universally pat each other the back for being the best supported club on the planet. all very odd really, is it 10,000+ season ticket holders not bothering showing up each match or are these 10,000 non attenders picking up tickets at such incredibly discounted prices they don't mind writing the £5 or whatever off at the last minute? anywhere as one of the more reasoned over there states, why don't the club just not bother announcing an attendance rather than have embarrassment of having their own supporters rolling about the deserted aisles doubled up in side splitting hysterics?
  16. think it was a shit he was after mate, probably just went back to his seat in the stands.
  17. mrs bd has taken to heading off to newport each friday to do a weekly food shop at the tescos megastore. tragically I've started accompanying her occasionally, not because I like supermarkets, but because live in hope of spotting some 55 year old cunt wandering around in a sunderland top with a skateboard under his arm.
  18. and another thing... is there such a thing as an nufc supporting hierarchy dependent on where you live? I do remember as a kid in the leazes end the odd outbreak of sporadic violence by gangs of teenage bootboys sorting out rival school issues if the match was shite, but then that would happen at the hoppings too. if I had ro go out on a limb I'd say the more sophisticated and discerning newcastle supporter probably frequents the percy arms pre-match but this has fuck all to do with where you're from.
