spot on mate.

not content with his role as the anti-nostradamus, gemmill steps up as the harbinger of doom.

if keegan told me cheltenham was in australia i'd start wearing a hat with corks on it.

aye! I remember it was probably the only place in town that would serve you a green monster.... a snakebite with a shot of blue bols. classy drink for the discerning quaffer. also, they had a shil load of teles everywhere at the advent of video jukeboxes, no bad thing when zz top's legs came on.

no, I don't think they were! I only took them to task over their outrage at us showing support for tonali yesterday. you'd think they'd appreciate our efforts really after the unequivocal backing both their club and fanbase gave to a bloke who was fingering a young lass behind a chinese takeaway.... but apparently not. not sure about esplanade, was a bit of a hoolies bar down by marlborough crescent bus station in the mid 80s.

I went on rtg last night in me slightly intoxicated state at about 01.30 as 'theolivegrove' lasted about half an hour before getting a life ban. managed to generate several pages in quick succession, can't revisit me handy work though, the touchy twats!

just to add to this in me slightly intoxicated late night, travel weary state... love the headless chook I do, he could very easily be me new craig bellamy, not many higher accolades! -
pretty much sums it up for me.

hat doffed mate, really pleased for you! still trying to get one for me mate, started refreshing on vodafone just after joining the m42 from the m5, got just short of the m1 on the a42 before becoming a robot. starting again on me ee phone now which doesn't seem aware I'm not human, fuck all coming up mind, not seen a thing all morning..... perseverance hopefully to pay off!

no arsenal ticket for me. current ballot success rate two out of eight. think i'll write a strongly worded letter to the club demanding a cheaper membership that just allows you to play the fastest finger first game!
-
it'll be ok in the morning mate, if not in an hour or two. all of us hardened resale types have been there, its an occupational hazard!
-
aye, they do. think the threat of punishments to the average supporter selling their ticket to third party sellers would be enough to put most off. I don't tend to look on those sites much, I did however look on one a few weeks ago for the away game at psg, there was tickets on there at the time for the home game too, that was pre them even going on ballot/sale to members. I'd guess most are finding their way there via corporates and their guests, but I don't know that obviously. you'd assume the club might be less inclined to pursue where these tickets are coming from if it potentially involved folk who are shelling out shitloads of thousands for a box each season?

was it in block p of the gallowgate? been fuck all showing up the last few days apart from that one a couple of times, there's never actually a seat there though! hang on in there mate, they will start appearing even if not in prolific numbers. personally rather take the chance on that than fork the best part of £200.

email from the club this morning...... Dear Member, We are contacting you with an update regarding your ticket ballot application for Newcastle United v Arsenal. We wanted to make you aware that an unfortunately an incorrect price was listed for this game, which was at a lower price than our 2023/24 single match ticket prices listed for previous games this season. Despite this error, any member that is successful in this ballot, which will be drawn in due course, will have the incorrect price honoured. Ticket pricing will be rectified for all future ballots. The ballot for Newcastle United v Arsenal will be drawn on Thursday 19 October, with successful applicants notified by 5pm on the same day. Thank you for your support i thought it was odd when i entered the ballot that the tickets were £43, cheaper than both burnley and brentford, considerably cheaper than liverpool. can see one of two things happening here, somebody's in for a helluva arse kicking, or not one person will be successful in the ballot and there'll be a fucking shed load go up for resale at the price they meant to charge in the first place. they're really not very good at this!

been likened to glenn close..... saying no more!

you're blissfully unaware of the dodgy ground you're on here, aren't you?

it's shit mate, no doubt about it. there's without doubt plenty of criticism can be pointed at last years 10am mayhem, certainly from those who were unable to be online at that time. I think while multi-log ins were questionable too, most people had cottoned on to it and were participating in the end as well. regardless, I fail to see how selling unlimited memberships, including potentially to away supporters has made things any better? doubt they're overly fussed mind, they've coined it in on memberships sales and ticket price increases.
