Newcastle United: Club Sold To PCP - Official
thebrokendoll replied to The Mighty Hog's topic in Newcastle Forum
you've got to give them credit for at least making an attempt. pretty sure master's didn't give a flying fuck, if indeed he was even aware they were there. meanwhile, the most incompetent and complete and utter waste of fucking space supporters trust ever to fleece membership money from folk release the following statement.... Aftter consulting with the organisers to ensure the appropriate safety measures are in place, we want to extend our best wishes to those travelling to London to make their voices heard in the continued call for transparency from the Premier League. beyond pathetic. -
thought the link was for the full album, but apparently not! I promise you though, it's well worth seeking out!
-
nice one sir. gonna get on soulseek in the next hour or so and find them! can I give you one in return? I lost me keys for an old transit I had in hungary. earlier at the festival I'd met a french hippie called zee, ace bloke lived in an enormous horse box, had dreads down to his ankles, was in his 50s then which was probably 09ish. last day of the festival he showed up with a toolbox, took the quarter light out without breaking it, drilled out the steering lock and hot wired the van with an on/off switch which he set in to the dashboard. he then got out a chillum and loaded ii with some fucking amazing afghani black. honestly man, I thought I was having palpitations! just before he disappeared he left me a cd by a mate of his. never seen zee again, but every time I listen to this I think how lucky I was and hope he's having an ace life. stunning chill out.

don't think so mate. point me in the right direction, currently chilling out in the sun with a freezing can of thatchers and an extended roll up, be happy to give it a go!
-
any dub fans out there? lush album.

I am, I'm fascinated by her bendy mouth and suspect she'd do an incredible blowjob without her even realising she'd done so.
-
over a period of about 2 years I slowly dyed my white kitchen ceiling an odd purpley/brown colour. there was always a lingering smell of burnt plastic too despite adequate ventilation. I hold shpongle partly responsible for this.
-
just interrupting for a second here mate, because I've not long been here meself. I've not really noticed whether there's a bbc love in goes on in here or not, but please don't include me in it. I think the bbc are cunts. right up there with mike ashley in fact!
-
don't get me wrong, I think it's far more informative than anything else we've been given. trawling back through the bbc's match report I think the official attendance is given as 67,000, it's an insult to our intelligence that there was 20 odd thousand empty seats there. quite how it came to be full you can only guess at, maybe thousands upon thousands of hospitality tickets? maybe thousands of less hostile folk who managed to piggy back through turnstiles with friends who had tickets? but whatever, the security has clearly been a joke. I remember our promotion season in the mid 80s beating man city 5-0 and an attendance of 33,000 was given, that was laughable and sunday was on a par with it. oh and just as a slight aside, I've got a better idea of how to carry out heart surgery than I have on how to tweet!
-
I think the major flaw in that article is the continued narrative that only a few hundred breached security to get in to the ground. (by whatever means) i think I posted 5 minutes before kick off on sunday that an attendance of 60,000 was laughable. the ground other than behind the dug outs on one side of the pitch was heaving. I reckon 20,000 over what we're being told is reasonable.
-
got the train in to cologne after the match, on it was the biggest gathering of old 80s newcastle hoolies I'd seen for quite some time, all being loud and obnoxious despite the police presence. suddenly a green clad copper appeared, the fucker was too wide to get between the carriage doors without turning sideways and had to bend down too. he stood there arms crossed and stared down the carriage without saying a word. complete and utter silence for the rest of the journey. never seen one man command such total respect in all me life!
-
I think all the teams you've listed produced better than we did, albeit inconsistently. I also agree entirely that we have a very strong squad, they don't appear to have been utilised as well as they could though. I accept it's harsh to criticise southgate bearing in mind a semi and a final appearance in the last two tournaments, however we have been extremely fortunate in the way this one has progressed. maybe southgate rather than needing more time isn't the bloke to do it?
-
pretty much where I'm with it. thought other than the second half against a dead on their feet ukraine we were overwhelmingly poor. very fortunate to be on the good side of the round of 16, had we been on the other I reckon its extremely unlikely we'd have made the quarter finals.

??

60,000 my arse!
-
predictions then? think england need to vastly improve on anything we've seen up to now to have any chance. 2-0 Italy, says the bloke who's never won a penny on a fixed odds coupon in his life!
-
go when they've got plug speaking mate. that's what I do.
-
but, but what about ian wright? love the bloke, for his enthusiasm, not in a sexy way. obviously.
-
it's a tricky one. however the bbc also employ robbie savage. that should never be forgotten.
-
bbc or itv? itv for me, rio ferdinand makes my flesh crawl, find it hard to stomach watching shearer being all pally pally with the cunt too.
-
what not even when it wrapped itself round his chest near the end? callous twat!
-
just watched this, bit late to the party I know! brilliant, I defy anybody to watch without welling up a bit.

I got to know ott quite well, he was the resident act in the chillout room at tribe of frog parties in bristol and always played at glade festival and ozora in hungary. very talented musician, I reckon his finest moment was playing smoked glass and chrome as the finale to his set as support act to shpongle's album release party for 'nothing lasts, but nothing is lost' he absolutely stole the night! he's a bit of an opinionated twat mind! I don't know if you've listened to globular? love this album....
