I doubt most mackems would appreciate the difference between a bottle of st emilion and thunderbird. mind you, nor too would hippohead.

lindisfarne's geordie genius: the alan hull story. cracking hours television on bbc4 if you can get it on catch up presented by sam fender and quite moving at times. alan hull was a regular in the potters wheel in sunniside in the early 80s and just one of the lads and a fucking big drinker! he managed and promoted a young sunniside solo singer/songwriter/guitarist who was a regular at the match with us called Ian mccallum and although as a talented soloist he never made it he ( @ewerk (apologies again!)) joined stiff little fingers in the early 90s and remains with them still.

bound to be an anti-masker too... string him up.

love the late 50s, early 60s stuff i do and built up a huge collection of mp3s from that era. brian mathew's sounds of the 60s made being at work on a saturday morning more tolerable and even picked up new songs from the soundtrack of call the midwife! anyway, thought i'd made a new discovery when the mercedes eqs advert popped up a few days ago. turns out it's a new song so it isnt allowed in me collection, however i really like it and it has the sound of that era with maybe some amy winehouse thrown in?

mbappe back on the cards according to emmanuel petit and the express... https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1526424/Newcastle-transfer-news-Kylian-Mbappe-PSG-Premier-League-Real-Madrid alexandre laccazette according to some random Italian paper... https://m.calciomercato.com/news/milan-sfida-con-atletico-madrid-e-newcastle-per-un-attaccante-59090 and trippier according to the sun (not linking the sun, and probably shouldn't the express!) anyway, regardless of how fanciful these are it's nice to see us popping up again on the bbc's gossip column after years of ashley neglect! -

i'm that much of a dinosaur i dont even know how to do a proper laughy face!

likewise mate. but you're not the one here who's claiming it's bordering on a heinous crime to just be happy enough to judge with what you've watched with your eyes.
-
i know i'm an old cunt, however.... you'd go to the match, and it would go something like this.... you'd avoid getting your head kicked in by the oppositions supporters. you'd have a few pints, or sometimes a bit more. you'd watch the game, have a sing and a jump about. come out feeling happy or miserable. buy a pink. have some more beer and discuss the match with your mates, who'd had a blinder, who'd been average and who'd had a nightmare. seems these days for some at least this has all been forsaken for video phones, stop watches, measuring tapes, calculators, slide rules and websites full of mathematical equations and mind-numbing statistics. fuck that.

a slum landlord who despite repeated requests to fix a faulty boiler eventually wipes out an entire family including young children with carbon monoxide poisoning. gets 5 to 8 years for manslaughter. a drunken teenage kid in an attempt to evade arrest, one punch kills a copper. mandatory life sentence. fucking outrageous. completely removing the distinction between murder and manslaughter for those whom they deem lives are more important than others.
-
another step down to the total disintegration of the justice system in this country... harper's law. fucking ludicrous.

he doesn't know whether he's smeagol or gollum.

I think you'll find that in the 19/20 season nufc finished in 13th position. that means that while 12 teams in the league performed better than us, SEVEN didn't. you can argue all you like about this (and I'm sure you will) but it will remain an undeniable fact. furthermore, of those seven teams, three of them, bournemouth watford and norwich performed that much worse than we did that they went and got themselves relegated. silly, silly football teams. for such a keen statistician I'm a little disappointed you've managed to overlook this, but hey, we all make mistakes.

just started watching ash v evil dead on netflix and reckon dana delorenzo is a bit of a minx, would even give her one as a deadite!

be a fantastic opportunity for him. i bear him no grudges at all and hope he's in place by the 27th of next month. -
aye, particularly the highlighted bit. a fucking world of difference to the utter shite I watched a few weeks ago against tottenham and you've got to doff your hat to the transformation from what bruce was serving up. inspired me enough to buy a ticket for the norwich game anyway.
-
certainly entertaining. would imagine @Kevin Carr's Gloves lad loved his first game. gutted BUJ fluffed the opportunity after a superb run by asm, thought we deserved the win. got to happen next game.
