I still can't get me head round this to be honest, it's fucking surreal. trying to come up with an us equivalent and the closest I can get is the 83/84 season where we were always seemingly just out of reach of chelsea/sheff wed and played cat and mouse with man city for 3rd practically till the end of the season. at no point was it ever even remotely considered to sack arthur cox, never mind our entire support demanding it.
