not that I'm aware of. they offered 0 half season tickets at the end of '21 and made a very limited number available at the start of 22/23 on a first come first served basis. there's been nowt since. while the demand is as high as it now I'm pretty sure they'd rather have less season ticket holders than more.

be interesting to see how they prioritise any season tickets, assuming they did make some available. another ballot? a multi browser, multi device free-for-all? points awarded for winning tickets in a supposed random ballot? (0/5 for me this season, arsenal another blank) personally I'd reward those the most that dedicate their lives to the fastest finger first game and suffer the trauma of being ruthlessly robotised. they must know who we are.

I wouldn't hold your breath on them making any significant amount of season tickets available, no matter whether they go down the expansion or new stadium route.. pretty sure during anfield's latest 8,000 increase in capacity they only released 1,000 to new season ticket holders and they've had a waiting list in operation for donkey's years, think I read that folk who'd been on the list for 20 years still didn't get one. at the end of the day we've a rumoured 80 to 100 thousand people all paying £37/47 a year for a membership to be in a ballot to buy a ticket which is about £13 more than a 19th of the cheapest season ticket price. each ballot is massively over subscribed. I'd be astonished if we didn't go down a similar route.

I ended up going to the man city game with me mate's daughter. he forgot he'd already booked to play the celtic manor ryder cup course in newport. anyway.... she used his ticket in the east stand and just took his phone for the day. she reckons there was 2 young blokes together in front of her in the queue, both their tickets were rejected and they weren't very happy apparently, had to go to the box office to sort it out, this was about 25 minutes to kick off. on the way back home she was trawling the net and spotted the two blokes at the side of the antony gordon banner, so they obviously got in eventually. anybody else heard of this happening? could be a variety of reasons why I suppose, but I've not read anywhere of the club deliberately issuing snidey home tickets.... or do they?

I thought the ref was a cunt me. bottled giving the second penalty, the one minute of added time at the end of the 1st half was ludicrous, it took your players 5 minutes to walk back from celebrating the goal in the milburn/leazes corner. 7 minutes at end was too much, convinced he was giving the opportunity to win it. mind you, I am a bit partisan. enjoyed it though.... good game.
