  1. who is this girl? I like way she moves her lips. massive potential.
  2. agree the vast majority of this, especially on willock. shame you spoilt your post with the goalkeeping error for shelvey's magnificent free kick!
  3. all down to me and renton's harsh words last night this is. simple as that.
  4. hallelujah! thank the fucking lordy lordy! clarko was right, shelvey is brilliant! fuck you, you yorkshire cunts! we're gonna a win the league!
  5. we've scored 20 goals this season, in 20 games. the 3 against brentford and the 2 against a rusty west ham and an own goal v tottenham are looking like an anomaly. I hope wood is a rip roaring success here, but let's be realistic, if he's to equal his usual season haul he's got to become a 1 in 2 striker for the rest of the season and I don't think he's got it in him. hope I'm wrong. wherever our goals are going to come from, be it from strikers or addressing our supply from midfield, it needs sorting fucking immediately, as does the attitude we can palm the likes of reims off with with fucking preposterous champions league winning add ons for highly rated players. best these fuckers get their fingers out, we've been through the 'we tried' scenario not so long ago.
  6. aye. I left the game against man utd a couple of weeks ago disappointed but hopeful. left the game on saturday disappointed and fucking depressed. unbelievable we could start with the same line up this weekend. but hey.... chin up!
  7. ah right, I hadn't noticed that, only ewerks link. I hope to god the fat cunts lawyers never get wind of the criticisms I've made about his ownership. I'm a bit skint at the minute.
  8. but then if the rumours that ashley's fucking grotesque signs were to remain in place till new sponsorship was agreed then surely they would still be there? and if it isn't then you could bet your last penny the fat cunt would be suing stavely for that too? I'm aware we've had delays over sponsorship due to the other pl clubs kicking off over ownership related companies being involved and market value shit etc but surely something must be close to being in place by now and was being sorted in the background regardless? would be nice to think once we've got some sponsorship in place we can make bids for players whereby the initial payment is higher and less reliant on outlandish add ons for winning the champions league?
  9. I can't at any point remember hoping it was adequately serviced.
  10. I mean I'm obviously delighted the sports direct shite came down and it's a shame it wasn't sooner. but wasn't it rumoured that it was to stay there until new sponsorship was in place? similarly, wasn't there a rumour that the signs being taken down before a new sponsor was found was the reason for ashley's case? been over a month now since his tat disappeared, is that too short a period to have something else in place? no marketing expert me as I'm sure that's obvious!
  11. just wondering as I might've missed it amongst all the transfer comings and goings this week, but... has there been any updates on either the sponsorship of the ground etc or for that matter fat mikey taking stavely to court and why?
  12. it's to be hoped mr logic isn't lurking....
  13. bit of a waste of time letting the met know.
  14. I'm feeling quite smug now that nobody responded to my plea for a spare ticket last week.
  15. I might try our approach in tesco later. I'll give you £2 for this pack of chicken thighs now, another £1 later if they don't make me barf up and a further £2 if the curry I make wins masterchef. see if they're agreeable?
  16. get quite nostalgic for the mid '70s early '80s era I do. very defining musically. was split as a kid between the beer and pogo of punk and head between the speakers with a joint of red leb/squidgy black listening to pink floyd/mike oldfield/tangerine dream. was blown away by gary numan's cars in particular and that track probably sent me down a route of electronica rather than the 2nd wave of punk stuff. was like being primed for the advent of acid house and ecstasy! anyway.... I consider meself very fortunate to have been both old enough to appreciate the punk movement and young enough still to take on the chin the misery of terrible tuesdays after a weekend of raving!
  17. aye, great album, with a superb opening track!
  18. and villa will line up with a team of every fucker we've been linked with.
  19. @PaddockLad new gold dream is a stunning album, the title track in particular, although I think the version from live at the city of light possibly even betters it. saw simple minds at the milton keynes bowl in '86, fucking superb! (as were big audio dynamite) a year later saw u2 at elland road during the joshua tree tour. remember at the time it was quite often discussed who were the better band between the two. no comparison in my humble opinion.
  20. I've just bought a ticket for the villa game, if the line up even closely resembles the one that started against watford, I'm holding you personally responsible!
