couple of years ago I was commuting quite regularly up to the hitachi train servicing depot at doncaster. it became a bit of a thing for me and the bloke I worked with to stop at tibshelf services and grab a macdonalds breakfast. (I know, they're shit) 7,30am there's a big fat mackem twat in the queue with his sunderland top on and a pair of cargo shorts held up underneath his massive gut by a builders belt and pouch thing, face red as beetroot and sweating like a pig. his entire calf from knee to ankle was covered in huge black letters with FTM. the stupid, tragic cunt had devoted about 10 maybe 15% of his skin to showing the world how much he hated us. never crossed my mind to get a smb tattoo not even a little one!

so, it's looking like we'll be key in this years title race with both of them to play. I reckon both will drop points to us, depends really on which one we'll tonk and which one escapes with a fortunate draw.

so who are we rooting for in title shoot out, or do you not give a fuck? think I'm edging towards man city, if for no other reason than they tend to abstain in the votes amongst the premier leagues owners to ensure we're not a threat at the top end of the table.

gonna be interesting to see how they handle season ticket sales in the summer. wonder whether they've got a plan in mind or will it just be a free for all? I always thought in years gone by there was a sale of half season tickets round about christmas which didn't happen this season?

the tickets went on sale today for the liverpool game, or in theory anyway. my season ticket holding mate who gets me a ticket as a guest reckons there was 3,000 in the queue before him and he was on there moments after 10am, then the website crashed altogether and apparently they've suspended sales till next wednesday. also reckons part of the problem was it was swamped by scousers trying to get tickets for the home sections, not sure how he would know that? anybody aware of such shenanigans or know if any tickets were actually sold before things went tits up?
