Reading a bit more about it, it's likely his fee won't be that much lower than Hernandez's. Seems unlikely that we'll sign him in that case. Can't see us shelling out close to 100m on our defence alone. I mean if there's anything to the Disasi links as well, or if we're even just going for that level of player at RCB, then we'd easily be getting close to the 100m mark if we try and sign someone like Dimarco on top of that.

In terms of LB's in Serie A, this guy is as close to Theo Hernandez as you're going to get in terms of what he can offer in attack. Would be an amazing signing if there's anything in this. He'd be a mate for Tonali as an added bonus as well.

Supposedly Daichi Kamada, who was set to join Milan as a free agent from Eintracht Frankfurt, is available and has been offered to both us and Spuds. At least according to 90mins. The restructuring of the hierarchy at Milan apparently resulted in Kamada being left twisting in the wind. He could be a very decent option in that attacking mid role on a free, if we find ourselves struggling with our budget. He had 23 goal involvements last season in 46 games, 16 goals, 7 assists.

If we get Disasi or another CB of similar level, obviously Barnes is looking close, get a LB who will probably cost around that 20 to 30m mark, and are still after an attacking mid/forward; that lot along with Tonali would come to roughly 200m. Maybe we won't get another attacking player, but I still wouldn't be surprised if the stories about us flogging ASM to Saudi are true. As has repeatedly been said, he's easily our most saleable asset in terms of who we'd probably be willing to let go. If ASM is the difference between us only reinforcing the defence, after we get Barnes, and being able to bring in another attacking player, then we have to flog him. If Veiga is really a target of Citeh's we can pretty much forget about him obviously. I mean unless we could assure him of more playing time compared to what Pep would be willing to offer. Well I wasn't being entirely serious, they're different players in different positions obviously, but I do think he can potentially score and create more goals than Maddison, after Howe gets his hands on him for a while as you say.
