I do enjoy reading RTG since no matter how bad our week has been they can make everything feel so much better just because I'm not part of their shower of shite. It's not even the club; just being on that board seems to require the drinking of some cult tainted Kool aid which blinkers you to anything outside of the accepted forum mentality. They can't even see that their own fans can't be bothered to watch their team and SAFC give thousands of tickets away free each home game just so the stadium doesn't look empty.
-
If only we were more like your RTG board, we could also have threads lusting after the children our club posted on it's social media then justifying it with "it's what AJ would want us to do".
-
A couple of Sunderland fans on holiday, both women, justified the AJ thing as "she was clearly up for it" and asked some kid that was with them if she'd date a footballer in return for a new car and when she said yes used that as a way to prove their argument. They couldn't get past that he pleaded guilty or that SAFC knew what he's done as being anything to do with it... it was all down to the girl offering herself on a plate. All. Fucking. Inbred.

How many cells do you need this to apply to?

Are RTG having the meltdown that they expected the NUFC fanbase to be having after we were relegated? They've become quite toxic towards everyone and pinned all hope on Moyes becoming their next manager. Even if Allardyce stays it seems he'll be blamed for anything other than straight wins.
-
Hopefully!
-
I really hope Moyes is going to be announced as their new manager only because some of them seem so emotionally invested in that outcome I don't think they'd be able to handle the rejection if he doesn't.

If we'd stayed up I think we'd have been in the same cycle of shite. While being relegated sucks big hairy balls, the changes that have happened within the clubs structure in the off season has meant the rot which has plagued the club for almost a decade has start to be addressed. The injection of cash which was promised materialised, the squad has remained pretty much intact, the facilities improved and the transfer process so hated by each one of our former managers changed. That puts us in a much stronger place going forward as a team. The honeymoon period down at the Wear however has been sharply ended with the realisation that all their clubs noise about a transfer budget and plans for a better season have stalled and they're in a slightly worse place than they were at the end of last season. Those sores aren't being helped that since the Everton game everyone North of East Bolden metro station has been upbeat and positive about being in the Championship because of the changes at the club and none of their predictions about Rafa leaving or players going en-mass has actually happened.

Injuryed, again, and heading home from Ireland. "De Jong is believed to have suffered the latest injury when stretching to keep the ball in play with an elaborate turn just next to the touchline." http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/siem-de-jong-dealt-another-11618695

It comes across as if some of them are wanting to get it on the record that they foretold scumberland would go down so in the event it happens, they can quote the post and proclaim themselves as some footballing genius; an unwashed Nostradamus.

Video feed if you want to watch him in action. He's already admitted to paying less than minimum wage. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/watch-mike-ashley-give-evidence-mps-regarding-working-conditions-sports-direct-live-1564061?

Season Ticket Renewal/Apathy - £25 Half Season tickets
Leon replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
Went to SJP on Saturday to renew my 5 game ticket from last season for a full ST only to find that I couldn't have the same seat since it had been purchased by someone in January, a couple of months before I purchased it, and they couldn't understand how I'd managed to buy it or why no-one has questioned why I was sitting in it for the last six home games. I'm now five seats away from where I was with my mates with only a slim chance of getting closer on the 1st July. -
It's not PC gone mad but the increased trend of using being offended to receive compensation; the new whiplash.
-
Of course they are. It distracts from the news that their hero, Adam Johnson, is training a football team on the sex offender wing and wants them to play in full Sunderland strips.
-
I thought Fish had all the power??
-
I hope not because I'm away for the first game of the season and really want to go to this game, especially away.

Season Ticket Renewal/Apathy - £25 Half Season tickets
Leon replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
Well it turns out that because I bought tickets to the last five games on a promotion, I'm eligible for a ticket renewal! -
He wasn't found guilty of grooming or sexual activity with a child. He lied for months and then walked into court and at the 11th hour pleaded guilty to these charges. That is very different to what you're trying to defend him with. What is so wrong is that your club KNEW all of this and still played him, still encouraged the fans to support him, still allowed him to sign stuff for kids and still looked to make money from his merchandise. Your club at the highest level know he had broken the law from day one. He didn't need to him to plead guilty or wait for his day in court; any legal council could sit with Marge and see that he had admitted to kissing a school child to the police and exchanged over 800 messages with her. That isn't speculation, those are facts acknowledged by everyone which would have allowed SAFC to have sacked him on the spot without any come back or risk of being sued due to bringing the company name into disrepute. Almost every HR contract in the UK has this clause and it was the one they eventually used. They didn't. Your club chose to play him knowing what he did and you're still trying to defend that covering up sex crimes against minors is acceptable if they pervert wears red and white stripes.

Take.My.Money!! (Then send me the refund!!) -
The whole thing is just embarrassing to the game. Rugby, cricket and even tennis has better officials than football and all of them successfully use technology to ensure the decisions that are made are done without breaking the flow of the game.
-
Given the amount of money which is now decided on these decisions I tend to agree with you. Any other business would have lawyers running to submit a claim if a ruling was made incorrectly and they had evidence it had cost them.

The Sun's panel of experts have looked at every game over the course of the campaign to bring you the Premier League table as it should have looked. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/7167792/Revealed-Real-Premier-League-table-shows-Arsenal-should-be-champions-and-Leicester-runners-up.html

I had a quick read of SMB while thinking about @@Renton's Grinch metaphor and it makes so much sense. They're at maximum rage that we're not in the meltdown they want us to be!

I do love that you single out the actions of a single fan whilst ignoring that the senior managers of your club activily encouraged it's young fans to cheer for a child sex offender for months, allowing him the freedom to continue to mingle with them all to promote the brand. What's worse a guy punching a horse or you shouting in the stands that you favourite players should bring allowed to abuse young girls?
