  1. Can we go back to the match naming convention we had before Christmas? The one which helped get us results because we've played shit since we stopped using them!!
  2. I really want them to though... Well I want them to get enough points for them to really believe that it's going to happen only for it to be denied at the 11th hour.
  3. You sure? They've replaced 'mag at work' with 'Mags wanting tickets..' and endless threads about Moyes not being sacked without thinking that he may of know the state of this season at the start of the year and just been told relegation wouldn't be the worst thing. You also get the odd diamond in the rough where they try and guess what huge plan we've got for them in retaliation for their planes without even thinking that we've not given it any thought. Muppets the lot of them.
  4. What's the earliest we could get second place given the remaining games?
  5. Do none of them think that maybe he's known about the lack of funds / dire financial position at the club since he was recruited and told then if they're relegated then it's not the worst thing? That would go to explain why he's always talked about a relegation battle this season and everyone at their club seems resigned to being in the bottom three.
  6. Just when you think Moyes can't provide any more entertainment in his press talks, he goes the extra mile and spices things up by telling a female reporter "“It was getting a wee bit naughty at the end there so just watch yourself. You still might get a slap even though you’re a woman.”" https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/this-may-be-why-moyes-doesnt-get-asked-any-pressing-questions-in-interviews.1347184/
  7. I wish they'd stop trying shots from outside the box or random angles in an attempt to win goal of the month and just pass to the players clearly in a better position.
  8. I think you have misinterpreted what I was getting at. We are a team of two games. One we turn up and play and sometimes get outplayed and only manage a draw; other games we don't even turn up with our midfield failing to make passes for what seems like the whole of the 90 minutes. I'm confident that we'll be going up but we have huge holes in our performance which has nothing to do with the teams we're playing and more around individual performance.
  9. I don't think it's a case that we should have walked the league but we have a team which shouldn't be dropping points in games where we aren't being out played; the ones we don't turn up for and key players spend the game jogging rather than running or failing to complete basic passes. Those lost points are the ones which should have had us further ahead than we are.
  10. If we get promoted then I suspect Ashley will release the funds need to keep Rafa. The January window showed that the NUFC-Rafa brand is a strong one which, regardless of the football played on the pitch, drives sales in the club shop and tickets at the gate. While he isn't the sharpest tool in the football box, he's in a position of being a stupidly rich owner because he can see what makes money and what doesn't.
  11. They don't get the sentence includes that he had every chance to plead guilty in the run up to the court date and didn't bother which in the eyes of the court meant the victim, a minor in the eyes of the law, was subjected to abuse by the scumberland fans something which could have easily been avoided by saying so at the time. < This is paraphrasing the sentencing judge from the trial. They've also forget that some of their current squad whether suited and booted to join him in court to tell everyone what a stand up guy their mate was and that their club was perfectly fine for them to do this knowing he was guilty.
  12. I love their passion for us and their hate towards each other. Whenever we have a shit result they make everything better just by providing a forum full of football analysis which, for the most part, turns out to be way off anything close to what actually happens. It escapes them that ignoring your own achievements like getting to cup finals and tagging all your successes against another club shows that's who you aspire to be like.
  13. After watching them against man city last night I think they'll pick out defence apart.
  14. This was the big difference for us today. The first half we looked like we'd come out for an extended warm up. We had no urgency or desire to push forward and with players walking about looking at the ground. Whatever was said at half time changed the game and showed what we can do and need to be doing from kick off.
  15. I was and Atsu was a much needed boast, especially in the second half.
  16. Much as I want Mitro to be the toon hero he some much appears to want to be it was another game where he was 2 steps from where he should have been with weak challenges and with hos head down more often than not.
  17. RTG finally have proof that we have loads of empty seats for our home games! Newcastle United
  18. Staying classy What everyone thought was a selfless act of goodwill appears to have been a benchmark.
  19. When someone goes to take a throw in then instead of getting on with it, they pass the ball to someone else to take it. The linesman shoulf be allowed to hit the player around the head without consequence , using their flag, everytime it happens.
  20. Of course they have. They're unbeatable now; this is where they start their run. Most are expecting to be P15 this weekend.
  21. Update - Nevermind, worked it out Hi Quick SQL question... I'm sure this is easy to those in the know! I'm running a quick query against some tables and receiving the following results: I want to aggregate this to have the total number of staff rather than the individuals: I've got so far with the query but can't work out how to group both the sites and the staff. It only works if I simplify to two columns (Site and staff) select b.name, s.name, count(a.staff_id) from staff a, sites s, business b where b.bu_id = s.bu_id and a.site_id = s.site_id order by b.name, s.name
  22. He looked knacked. From the moment he ran the length of the pitch he seemed to be be panting about and we were back to the same guy who waddles back onside after their keeper clears the ball.
  23. £10 on both Derby and Scumberland to win. If today is going to be really shit then I want a good take out tonight.
  24. Moyes is all ready to play a starting XI of Man Utd and Everton cast offs... https://mobile.twitter.com/br_uk/status/826102735309254656
