So I've read on RTG. It's no surprise we're always 'fumin' and 'seething' when they make some witty comment about us. I mean, they thwarted all their made up crap our plans to gate crash their last game by buying up all the Wolves tickets and if they hadn't flown their own banner and 'controlled the airspace' who knows what we would have done. It wouldn't have been as clever as something they'd do though, what with them being every other teams special friends.
-
Clearly all them since they're the most loyal supporters ever to stay away from a stadium.
-
Wait.. we can be awarded a well done badge??
-
Why do they hate Bain so much. I get the Short thing but Bain is just the money man who's been brought in to try and make the finances stable. It was never going to be good due to the shit they're in and until the annual results are published how successful he has been isn't known. Is it just a case of spoilt children having a tantrum because they can't have more sweets or has he done something else?
-
They're more pissed off that 'massive lad fans' like themselves can't just go to the ticket office and even though they don't have a ticket history between them it doesn't seem to trigger how ironic their claims of being lifelong supporters and inability to buy tickets is.
-
I have a couple of friends who are Makams who had planned to go to the Wolves game as they believe the club is set to implode over the summer and it might be their last chance to watch SAFC. They're pretty pissed with this since they can't get tickets.

Isn't that one of the problems with Rodwell? He had the clause but they didn't envoke it. They could have others in the same position.
-
I'm not sure that's right. IIRC the Championship cap is much lower and the losses they made in while in the Premiership exceeded that amount. I'm happy to be corrected on this.
-
Gutted I can place bets on the games between now and them potentially being relegated on Tuesday
-
They obsess with the likes of Rodwell and ignore O'shea who hides from the every ball which comes towards him. He literally covered himself up when the first goal went in rather than try to block it or put in any defence. And now League One is where the rebuild will be happening.. maybe.

More so if the Quinn thing does go through and it isn't as successful as it was last time.

It is this pure and simple. When we got relegated they all expected him to walk and the fans to turn against the club but the opposite happened. That drove them insane, more so when we went through a period of not getting results we still stayed positive; something they thought they'ed be able to replicate this season. It doesn't help their mood that their 'superior' supporters started drifting away towards the tail end of last season and has reduced every home game since then - even their message board seems to be quieter as they just give up, almost embarrassed to be associated to the club, but they can't be seen blaming any fans for this since it's all Short, Bain, Moyes and the FA for stealing Allardyce. If you read the minutes from the latest supporters meeting the best protest they can think of is filling the stadium for the last home game, something they've failed to do since the night they played Everton when they game away thousands of free tickets but can't decided what to protest against. All they have is their '6 in a row' which they don't get means they're actually bench marking the success of their team against something better than them; you don't recognise something you've achieved against something smaller than you. Now they've moved on from 'mag at work' to inventing stories of mass 'Mag' invasions into the away ends and some of the newer 'Mag' posters seem to be second accounts just to play the stereotype they want us to be.

I asked my makem neighbour if he was going to today's game and he said "only till they're four down and then I'll leave, if the stewards let me." When I questioned this it turned out that the stewards confiscate any anti SAFC banners and also lock the stadium doors to try and prevent people leaving to early.
-
From that list I think I'd want Ant and Dec
-
It's not that I think we should be doing better as such; we just seem to waste / miss a lot of opportunities because of sloppy play - incomplete passes, shots rather than passing across goal etc. Things that we can do right and have shown in previous games we can do well.
-
Goal wise we need to stop going for the glory shot and pass to players in a better position. Time after time we have players open but instead of using them someone attempts a weak ass kick from a weird angle or from outside the box which goes straight to the keeper.
-
I don't mind when they do mention horses, or six in a row. The more they cling to these the more it becomes apparent that we're their comfort blanket and the victories against us are the only good memory they have left. They don't even bother themselves with recent cup finals or the good they did for Bradley - just that they beat us two sessions ago.

I wouldn't mind getting him back but only if we paid less than what it cost Palace to take him from us. Does he have a relegation / transfer trigger this season? -
They're pretty sure everything south of the Tyne and North of the Tees flyover is the Sunderland supporter catchment area with Hartlepool and or South Shields as their second club.

Don't take it personally. Fish spends so much time on the SAFC message boards that he's more Makem than Mag these days. -

With that much cash lets get Sissoko back and getting him selling programs outside the Gallowgate. -

THe club will be for sale but he'll hold onto NUFC direct so the new owners will make pennies from the merchandise while Ashley will continue to make money without being the owner. -
They do it because us being punished would be the highlight of their season; the same as wanting Rafa to walk or us being ungrateful towards Ashley. Some of them don't care about their club now and are more focused on something bad happening to us.

I do feel for them only because it has a feel of Leyton Orient to it and despite our record, I miss derby days. Having more teams from the North East succeeding in the Premier League can only be a good thing.
