The team certainly played better with him in it. I don't think Janmaat has the same energy Debuchy has and gets caught out of position sometimes. Think Debuchy had a bit more consistency too, but Janmaat has age on his side. -

Can't agree. Not that Janmaat isn't decent enough, but I think Debuchy's injury problems since he left us have probably kept us from seeing what we're missing. -
I have a worrying feeling that De Jong might continue to be dogged by injury. I wasn't putting them in order of preference anyway really, barring Riviere. It needed to be emphasised that I am in no way okay with him.

Think bringing two in will be with Cisse leaving. If Cisse stays Mitro/Perez/Cisse/De Jong and Rivere as an absolute last resort if the other 4 are completely fucked is fine with me, I'd rather spend the money elsewhere.

We've got zero RB cover either. Another position where we've been happy to release our back-up despite the frequent number of times we needed them, to casually not replace them. -

I was analysing the line-up the fish posted. Don't think we'll sign him either. Shame as well, him and Ayoze could potentially complement each other well imo. I think we need a better and different type of player to Austin. I'd be happy enough if we got him and Mitrovic but if we just sign Austin we've failed on strikers again
