It'll be Mitrovic alone tonight if he plays 4-2-3-1, i read he likes a target man to bring that second line of attack into the game. I'd drop sissoko for Perez

Cheers. Any recommendations? Every time I pick somewhere the hotel prices are eye-watering

I looked at shoreditch and it looked like a transport nightmare. Will the tube even be feasible after a gig? Any recommendations in the West End? Not really looking for anything special, just somewhere that'll stay busy until the early hours. It's a Saturday night so that'll help. Oh and teeming with fanny as well, not going with my Mam and Dad.

Hope Rafa gets the measure of Sissoko straight away and drops him. Being shit is almost forgiveable if you aren't a cunt, and being a cunt is forgiveable if you're not shit. Moussa is a shit, shit cunt.

Where would you stay in London if you were going to a gig at Wembley but wanted some decent nightlife afterwards? I've booked a hotel in Harrow but I'm going to cancel it because it looks like there's fuck all there. I'd prefer somewhere closeish because I'm expecting the transport system around the stadium to be pretty flooded after a gig?

He manages to be out of position even when he's back defending tbf

It was probably us that insisted on the get-out clause, last time we went down Ashley apologised, said bringing Shearer in was his best decision then wouldn't pay his wages.
-
Why even bother giving Scholes airtime? Bastian whipped out an AK-47 and pumped the West Ham 'keeper full of lead and the cunt says minimal contact. Waste of time having him on

Hope Carroll knocks these out then Palace in the semis

Just been reading the NUFC thread on rawk. They've posted The True Geordie's reaction to the appointment, they like him then later in the thread realise he's sponsored by The Sun and have now taken the stance of ignoring his content
-
Was the Spurs boycott last season the turning point for him? Spent a bit last 2 windows, made 2 managerial appointments that were seemingly more ambitious than any before that. Does anyone think that by associating Sports Direct with NUFC, that shareholders of the former might have put pressure on him and his running of NUFC as a result of the negative press he was attracting? The Benitez appointment comes at a time they're in the press because of their treatment of employees. Has he really had a sudden change of heart, or does he just not want to the two-pronged grief?

Johnson's victim now at risk of getting hit by a drunk driver, when will it end

Rattled by our new appointment they've moved to BRING BACK QUINNY! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/niall-quinn-set-sunderland-return-7547277

“The ten games is the main thing, we’ll see what happens after that. Then we will consider the future and I have a lot of expectations as to what we can do. I think we will be at the top.” "Oligarchs, sovring staytes, wipe its nose, top arf."

5 of those don't even play for us

Defo think Colo still has a role to play in a well-drilled side. I think a lot of our shite are beyond tactical coaching, probably fry their little pea-sized french brains when he tells them about zonal marking. Colo is probably one of the more intelligent players we have.
-
Do we have the players for it? Will he go for this straight away or will he make more gradual changes?

Carr and Charnley were probably happy to relinquish transfer control. Relieved to just not be sacked you'd think.
-
Read the Leicester forum to see if we appointed Rafa. Still expecting to do us 3-0 and still hate us. Which was enough to change my title preference to Spurs.
-
Credit due to whoever has made the decision to take control from the 'football board' in order to snag Rafa though. Doubt that will have been anyone on the football board though

Materialism: The "What have you bought?" Thread
TheGingerQuiff replied to Tooj's topic in General Chat
Nice, bet you can't wait for P.E now -
Think he was referring to your loose bowels

He wrote: 'Of course he can say he won the Champions League with Liverpool, which is something I never did. But it has nowt to do with him. 'Steven Gerrard took that final by the scruff of the neck and dragged Liverpool back from 3-0 down against AC Milan to eventually win on penalties. 'I don't blame Benitez for claiming credit but as managers we know the truth. It's like when you make a substitution in desperation and it comes off. You get all the credit for your tactical brilliance when it's often just luck.' Benitez, by now the Real Madrid manager, had little choice but to respond to such incendiary claims. He fired back: 'Do you know who Sam Allardyce is? Do you know how many trophies he has won? Well that's my answer. It is what happens when someone has a book to sell. His opinion does not have a lot of value.'
