I'm not championing him as an amazing player btw. He was never going to transform their midfield. It's bereft of creativity and that's not what he really offers. But I'd prefer someone like him to play with Shelvey than your average 'holding' midfield plodder. He's better than what we have and he's still just a kid in a new league in a shite team. It'll be a problem position for us next season if we don't sign someone as well.
