And, if you have the best attacking players in the league because you're the richest club in the world, a pragmatic decision be taken to play on the front foot. I mean, it's not like Rafa's famous sides have struggled for goals. It's only here when he had the likes of Joselu at his disposal that he, pragmatically, realised that just out scoring the opposition wasn't really a sensible approach. -

Saying you want a "young, hungry" manager is a huge insult to a man who is clearly an obsessive to the game and probably the hardest working manager we've had as well. -

Oh I don't know. I mean it's not like he's won honours against a whole host of top managers in a number of different leagues throughout an illustrious career, often with a lesser team than his counterparts (hence the need for "pragmatism" which you bizarrely use as a slur). He almost nullified both Pep's sides and Klopp's side at SJP last season, the latter only won because the ref was under instructions to have the title race to go to the wire. So can his, ew, "pragmatism", compete with these managers when you factor in an unparalleled investment in the playing squad. Probably. -

So will Rafa. See how "defensive" and "same style as bruce" he is with a couple of billion pound strikers at his disposal. -

It's not really a big enough fund where if it tanks it's ruin my retirement or anything. I've essentially been inadvertently astute and seen it go up around 4k whilst everyone else's (and my other pensions) seems to have gone to temporary shit. Moving it back to a tracker fund is the move but should I do it now whilst I'm ahead or will the upcoming mega-recession wipe out my gains? I think I'm erring on moving half (a quarter, essentially) to a 'safer' fund and leaving the risky one. Will keep you all posted and charge a fee for future advice is if I come up smelling of roses

I have up until now, I was in the black rock and gold thing pre-carona. My hypothesis is it's performed so well because it's invested in things like mining companies and anything linked to gold does well in bad times. Surely I don't want to leave half of my pension in such a high risk fund forever though? I want an exit strategy to somewhere safer but I just don't know when. Edit it's just an old one that I thought I'd play about with to see if I could make some money. I leave managing my current one to the pros.

Has anybody been watching their pensions throughout this? My Dad, who is a couple of years off retirement mentioned he'd had about 6k wiped off the value of his. As I mentioned earlier I've had some success with a fund that I chose when I was playing about with an old pension, moving half to the Aviva Black Rock and Gold fund and it's performed very well. But it is a 7/7 risk profile fund. Should I think about locking in those profits and moving back to a fund that invests in blue chips or is it too early? So-called accountant's advice welcome.

Love the idea that our average fan is supposed to understand the political sensitivities of the middle east. Meanwhile in Lahhhndan they're still making monkey gestures at black players. -

We not already at low prevalence? Less than one confirmed case per million on the globe. Fuck knows the real numbers in developing world mind.

My famous cialis sourdough will do that to a man. Will drop another one round later. Disclaimer: I was a total cheating rascal and used a shaping basket!

Just had another case confirmed at work, where I'm still required to attend, in flesh. They're making us wear masks now and they're hideously uncomfortable. Would honestly rather catch it.

They actively advertise legal representation as a membership benefit, though.

Didn't stop me from needing a private solicitor to take on my former employer though. A swindle.

When did charities get so greedy? It used to be text to donate a couple of quid. Now AgeUk want you to send a text for a tenner, when we're staring down the barrel of recession-bomb (copyright daily express, 2021) and a twat load of poor cunts are on furlough

My mother works for tui and reckons they've just had a 1.8 billion loan from their German overlords because there's zero revenue coming in at all whatsoever. Hope that reassures you. I've booked skiing for France next Feb...optimistic?
