Even worse than the home 0-6 loss to Liverpool a couple of years ago under Pardew? My little brother was in tears and an absolute state for the whole week afterwards. I didn't know it was even possible for anything to get worse than that.

I'm amazed at how one could be 'excited' by him. Even after we finished 5th; I knew it wasn't going to last because we brought only one player in during the summer than we panic bought a load of Frenchmen, most of whom aren't/weren't good enough. And unfortunately there's a lot of knackers about my age going on about how great Pardew was for getting into Europe that one season. No. Although I never saw it, I know we've had consistent class and quality in our sides, manager and football.

The Allardyce (then Keegan) season was my first ever season ticket. What a load of shite it was. I still have nightmares from when we lost 1-4 at home to Portsmouth after conceding 3 goals in something like 4 minutes.

Trust me, the Norwich game will be like the Leicester home game last season: very nervy game then we nick a goal in between the 70th and 80th minute and win 1-0. KTF EDIT: Whey aye. Found it.

We should drop Mr Champions League and play Thauvin. And I agree, slagging off a 22 year old just coming from the south of France to a new country and league is unjustified imo. And people saying Cabella would be better? People say about Thavin 'he only played well against mighty Northampton' Well then, what did Cabella do against the mighty Gillingham last season then?

Yet we've dropped him after 2/3 poor games. Has McClaren/Carr learned something about Thauvin now that we didn't know in the seasons we've been scouting him for before he signed?

4 points at least. We should be going for 9: all of our next 3 games are very winnable but we all know we won't get 9 with this bloody club. And Janmaat injured? Champion. This season just gets better and better.
