Palace are shite.

We'll be out of the relegation zone if West Ham beat Sunderland and if Leicester beat Norwich by 2 goals

He'll probably be on the bench. Was training today.

Pen. Well, Arsenal are definitely out now.
-
Great counter that. And with Barça having an away goal, I think Arsenal are out.

Happy birthday guys

Also realising that people have been on this board when I was 5.

Stoke are a tad like us in the fact they will show up one week and turn to shite the next, but they show up far more than we do, hence the positions in the league table. We've lost 1-0 down there past few seasons haven't we? Even when Stoke have been shite on the day? Going for a 1-0 loss. Also bearing the fact that in my lifetime we've only won once down there. I can't see that changing.

Heard about that League Cup win. There was hell on?
-
Is the only time we've won at Stoke the 1-3 Ba hattrick?

Managed to sit through Unfriended. Poorly made imo. -
The previous season's deals. I didn't sign any other players in the season that I am currently playing through apart from backup and depth. Looks like an insane amount of money spent, especially as Newcastle you start with bot all funds to work with, but through quite a lot of time spent in the finance/sponsorship part as well as taking ages on each deal (eg installments over long periods of time) you can get top players with out spending a large amount of money up front. And it helps a lot managing to magically convince Jabba and Penfold to give me more money. Ignore the suspensions and stuff; this is my strongest possible side. Didn't really want to keep Sissoko as I'm not a fan of him IRL and you can get quite a lot of money off clubs for him but he is one of my best performers. Willems was bought in January, took the rest of that season to adapt but has came very, very good this current season. Shame that he damaged his achilles tendon in the 9th game of the season. Kante hit the ground running. Charlie Austin was my top scorer last season with 24, but I always start games with Mitro as the team seems to play better when pivoting around him. Austin is usually thrown on in the last half hour and more often than not gets a goal. Juan Jesus was getting booked almost every game the previous season but he's packed it in the current one, and he's absolute quality. Scott Dann and Lewis Dunk are backup. Kouyate is a good squad player, and he usually rotates with Anita, who has been surprisingly very good for me. This is what I always play at home. Usually gets 2+ goals per game. Away from home I change it up depending on who I'm playing, but I'm often playing 4-4-2 with both Austin and Mitrovic up top together, and it's usually deadly. Playing that away, I have beaten Norwich 2-6, Leicester 0-4, Villa 0-3 and Watford 1-4.

Chris Brunt getting coined by his own fans after West Brom got beat 3-1 off Reading. Classy. -
This made me laugh much more than it should have.

Cracking cross and header that tbf.

I'm really struggling to understand how a PL side can manage to struggle this much, friendly or not, against a shit as fuck team that has just stated their pre-season. Fucking hell.
-
Well worth keeping in mind that this Lillestrøm side, one of the worst teams in the Norwegian league, are in the very beginning of their pre-season training

Won the league in my first season by 3 points. Got to the League Cup Final and the FA Cup semi final. Top 4 were Newcastle (me), Man C, Arsenal, Spurs. Teams relegated were Bournemouth in 18th, Sunderland in 19th and Southampton bottom. Teams that were promoted were Ipswich, Middlesbrough and Burnley. Into the new season, had a relatively average start compared to the previous season but the team is picking up last season's pace again. Went through my Champions League group unbeaten.

You're right, no one is good, truly, in this series. Maybe apart from the Starks: that are now dead. The fact that they're dead speaks for itself. I know most book readers are Stannis fans, but why I am is: Yeah I agree with you that Tyrion's arc has been better in the show and I agree with you that I was surprised they've completely cut out Jon Connington & Aegon/Griff & Young Griff as well.

Moved the GoT discussion over to the GoT thread. Makes more sense that like. @@Renton Apologies for the spoilers. Just thought that all of us who watched it would've been caught up on it. FWIW, I've put the spoilers in spoiler tags, so you can actually scroll through the thread relatively unspoiled, if you haven't read them.
